I think matter transmission, space manipulation, and boundary sever would be optimal to grab based on what we've seen so far.

I think boundary sever has been given more hype than it deserves thanks to Junko. The weakness of most of those abilities is that the person who has them is a regular squishy human. Boundary sever may be great at protecting you from attacks, but only if you have the chance or ability to react to them. It offers no protection against your throat being slit in the night, or being shot with an arrow by someone hiding on a rooftop or in a tree. Having zettai offsets that, and lets Junko show off sever’s good sides

That's a good point. My thinking was that it'd depend on how abstract a 'boundary' can get, and that it should at least save you from a fate worse than death. It's probably a little less valuable upon reflection.

I've been thinking about the cheat skills we saw in ch6 a little because the premise of a world that is hostile to these cheats (that just like the high elf said, are normally the protagonists' one way tickets to an easy life) are so subversive and interesting.

I think matter transmission, space manipulation, and boundary sever would be optimal to grab based on what we've seen so far. They all have immense unique utility in combat, allow you to escape from shitty situations, and reasonable constraints I've thought about (somewhat limited range or limited usage) don't diminish their conceptual strength. Some stuff seems strong, like mind control or body modification, but if the former is detectable, resistable, or doesn't have a permanent uptime, I feel like that would quickly diminish its value, and the world probably would have counterplay to the latter in the form of tracking spells to nullify disguises. Some just aren't that unique or useful given the presence of similar chemicals or magic, like corrosion or freezing. Some are useful enough but you'd need to play your cards extra carefully to make sure you aren't detected and exploited, like clairvoyance, analysis, telepathy, or precognition, because those do not leave you with any escapes.

Anyway, I hope that 'god' has its goals and allegiances revealed at some point, or this cheat skill dilemma is explored more; what the high elf said about otherworlders being gifts from god to them caught my eye. He seems like the kind of guy to know what he's talking about, at least lore-wise. That seems rather odd too, that 'god' eould only help their world by sending offerings from another. And you'd think that those insane cheats like the judgement cut were not made to be exploited by the denizens of this world, but it is hard to not be kind of worried about it. I wonder if something like that will happen to Junko?

Mitsuki doesnt have much experience with people and social stuff so you just know she'll totally misinterpret this (^^) I guess this might call for another intervention from jerk face/ Narita-kun.

All ghost romances have happy endings. Someday the MC and the fan girl will be with Aizawa-san - forever.

Nao's got the wrong idea about Asumi's frequent visits to the brothel but damn this chapter is GOOD. This dork slowly on her way to finding out her feels proper.
I don't care who Asumi ends up with at this point, I just want moooooore.

she lacks the critical information

FWIW we later learn that she couldn't make out most of what she was saying anyway because Adachi was crying and yelling at the same time and not making much sense.

doesn't that kind of defeat the purpose

this artist is actually godlike. there feels like there's never a wasted panel even in the manga's longer chapters, and the angles he draws from are so dynamic it's unironically reminiscent of the record of ragnarok manga. thats not even mentioning the insane art, which i think is a large reason most people without the same fetish can sympathize with kaguhara to some degree.

They pulled the classic misunderstanding element now, that will surely be resolved later with something like "we didn't do anything, I just closed the curtains because we were gonna play table tennis and she's too shy so doesn't want anybody to see her playing" or some stupid unbelievable reason related. It's not that I hate the manga or this kind of plot device, but it bothers me that after a good chapter with real character growth, they pull this cliche and ruin the progress with the classic superficial jealousy.

As of now I think it doesn't HAVE to fall into the old misunderstanding pattern. I'm hoping that Marika doesn't come to a definite conclusion (surely she finds it a bit strange that Aya would do this stuff with her if she actually did have a girlfriend right guys) and just uses the experience to reevaluate a bit, seeing how as of now she's seen lesbian couples, has gone on a 'date' with Aya, feels jealous of another girl spending time with her, and is clearly attracted to her.

Actually, after putting that down in words, that seems functionally identical. Maybe it'd be less corny? In the end though the author did play the rain card so it's probably not gonna happen.
