Yeah the complete lack of reaction kinda gave it away, but eh. Fair enough.

All of the other seats being empty was also a give away, though I'll admit the tags had me looking out for that kind of thing. Still, I was expecting her to "merely" be tied up in the back until near the very end.

Could have, but combined with the rest of it, and the rain certainly not being suitable for a picnic... And at the very least would not have been as surprised to see senpai neatly boxed away for her upcoming funeral like this.

Seems like senpai wasn't even that nice to her. And her never mentioning her boyfriend is weird. I guess yandere was just some kind of gofer for her? Not a friend but someone useful.

I shouldn't speak ill of the dead, but she must've been airheaded to accept the proposal of a "nice" guy she'd only known for three months. And now she's beheaded.

Well. Not my favorite Yandere story out there, but it was still interesting I guess?
Is it bad that her having been tied up would have felt better to me? I guess in dying she at least doesn't have to be scared or anything, whereas being a living captive would lead to all sorts of psychological terror and trauma, but it still feels less interesting narratively somehow, idk.
