Yeah, I'm with Kase on this, Yamada should've taken a stand against her employer. They can put a sign on the door for a couple hours, their business isn't going to collapse if they have an unexpected closing for a small part of one day.

Oh yeah I don't seem them breaking up, and I personally want them to work out their issues instead of breaking up. Though since they're likely never breaking up and this manga will probably go on for awhile longer, I predict we'll see more years of people saying they just need to break up already. I think there's a whole portion of readers that think them breaking up would be a good ending, largely because they despise Kase with every fiber of their being. Even if Kase grows and their relationship improves I think the people that hate her are likely dying on that hill until the end of the series. So I guess...it is what it is lol

Well, haters gonna hâte.
I think they are just jealous of the relationship Kase san and Yamada san has.
That's why they want to break it.
The weird, messed up mentality that goes with
"If I can't have that, I'll not going to let you have it either"

That sort of mentality, which is surprisingly scary and very twisted indeed

Or maybe we just think Kase is a bad girlfriend? Or have you already forgotten about the stupid race?

None of us have forgotten, but people fuck up sometimes, you deal with it and move on. It was clear by the end that Kase was just trying to avoid hurting her friend's feelings and that she wasn't willing to compromise on her actual relationship or the idea of moving out. And ultimately Yamada wasn't upset about it. They understood each other, which is really the only thing that actually matters.

I find it strangely coincidental that this and Morinaga's work is dealing with the same theme of self sacrifice/neglect. Especially the impact it has on their partners and their ways of addressing it.
Am curious to see if they have the same or different outcomes.

Geeze, these two need to have a talk and set some expectations and boundaries about their relationship. Well, it's a drama. Dramas get to be roller coasters, when in real life people would eventually want off.
