Bro thinks that what constitutes upper and lower class cuisine remains static over time

The art should be trying to convey a message to the readers. The story uses conventional "high class" markers in clothing and architecture. Using fried eggs and hamburger patties undercuts that.

Unless you think the Chinese artist genuinely thinks this is fancy food. But then, there's the wine bottle label, that flips upside down.

I think it's just a lazy and/or overworked artist using 3D assets in a very generic way. "Comic mentions food, show food." Hardly the first time since Duan stopped being the main artist.

She's an orphan of the Anubis tribe, a natural born assassin

Oh ? Is she a new friend for Elsa and Yvonne ? A love interest for Circé ??

What, an enemy ? Nah...

Why was the kiss at the beggining censored? Is the Chinese government fucking with our yuri again?

She is obviously just a violinist who plays exclusively for yuri couples.

Always has been.

Ugh, slavery. THAT is an institution that really needs to be murdered with unfathomably enormous prejudice.

Aye Im probably years late the the party but I want to make sure I'm not going insane. Two plot holes I've observed;
1. Elsa has multiple childhood stories that are nearly impossible to line up neatly. She was raised by poor parents, she was raised by a nun, and she is a slave for a slaver who sells kids off to demons. They MIGHT'VE explained this one, but I can't recall anything in that direction.
2. The timeline is nonsense. The "promise" mentioned very early in this series was revealed to have happened during when the villainess went back in time, but this makes no sense. If Elsa remembers the promise before the villainess went back in time, that means the timeline has already been fixed and therefore no problems should arise. Maybe I'm misunderstanding something with this one too, but to be frank time travel sequences are hard to write consistently and I don't blame them if they screwed this up.

The nun comes after she is rescued from the slavers...

  1. After Elsa is orphaned she ends up in the clutches of budget Fagin, and on the radar of the trafficking nobles.
  2. Time-shifted Yvonne intervenes and rescues her, taking Elsa to live at the family manor for a period of time.
  3. Elsa moves on to the orphanage, and Evie returns to current time leaving behind her child self with no memory of Elsa.
  4. They don't meet again until school.

This is a common trope in fiction including time travel. It's called stable time loop, and while it is a paradox, this is commonly accepted in time travel stories.

I let out an audible "what the fuck" when I saw the censor... looked like there was tongue action too

But deadass, I'm confused. We've seen them kiss before without a censor... is this a perma change or did smthn happen to where they gotta censor things for a while?

Anyways, I cheered at the sight of our ally in yuri (the bonk WAS deserved, should've just snuck those props into their luggage or smthn)

I wonder how they're gonna free all those enslaved? Is the plan to buy them all or just burn the whole place down?

They all def deserve to uh... meet a swift end, to say the least

Some do the approach that if you go back and change something, then the present will be changed; others considered that causality would instead have you observing the changes before you had gone through with them, and going back secures the causality rather than disrupts the present. Neither is more correct in a 'single stream' interpretation of time travel. The paradox is always that if you go back and change things, you will have already removed your reason to have decided to go back in the first place. Many works go with infinite parallel timelines instead so that paradox isn't in effect, but that comes with its own can of worms.

As for the current chapter... I hope it's the last to feature rich guys drooling over kids in cages.

bilibili censors the kisses on their platform. Authors usually upload uncensored versions on weibo which doesn't care. Typically golden flower tries to get those weibo raws to use for these scenes but sometimes either it isn't posted or they can't get it in time or whatev. It happens, but it doesn't mean anything major imo.

the last time we saw a slaver, toddler yvonne beat the shit out of him so im assuming the latter lmao

I'd love to see Yvonne become this world's John Brown.

Oof, that was hard to watch. I trust Elsa and Yvonne to put a stop to it, but to think there was that kind of black market under the capital... what the hell is the royal family doing ?!

Beybey is probably the least unlucky of the lot, since she's the only one who's not actually a slave in there. But whoever sent her there is cruel either way, showing her the darkest side of humanity just to motivate her even more to kill at the cost of her own life.

Assumedly they're either ignorant, complicit, or incapable of doing anything about it. It's worth noting most of the slaves we see here are beastfolk, who seem to have some sort of connection to demons/the demon lord, so it may be that they're a convenient "other" for the powers that be and any attempt to stomp this out would be political suicide. We also don't really know how the balance of power is between the royal family and the nobility, and the threat of a noble revolt tearing the country apart would certainly force the royal family to keep out of the matter, assuming they even want to do something about it.

Anyway, didn't expect the assassin to be a child. Having a tough time deciding what's worse, child assassins or chattel slavery.

Defo the latter, imo. Not that the former isn't horrible too, tho.

The fact that they're establishing the existence of the slave collars is deeply concerning.

In other news, this assasin might be a potential ally, if Elsa can eatablish a rapport based on her own experience.

I'm calling my homegirls, Nanoha, Lina Inverse and Madoka to lay waste to those slavers. If I wanted to be cruel I'd Send Osaka in to scramble their brains with logic puzzles. But even I'm not that cruel.
