Arare is an absolute menace and the epitome of narcissism, she’s a fantastic antagonist and has an interesting contrast to Toudou, both have ungodly rizz but Arare being so heavily dependent on it to such an unhealthy level while Toudou barely even notices her own charms is so funny.

That foreshadowing a few chapters back… when Elsa found Yvonne sleeping in a cat like position.

Nice to see Haruka x Kanae again, been waiting for further development ever since Haruka wrote the “I love you” letter.

Interesting response from Yuzu, to throw herself onto Mei over a parataxic distortion she’s developed over a childhood friend of Mei’s Yuzu knows very little about

Could just be a tease for the long overdue sex scene, and it may have gotten to that point if Mei didn’t calm her down, but I find it interesting to think about Yuzu’s mindset here, the almost instinctual reflex to protect her relationship by forcing them both into the next step of intimacy, as if she feels she’s falling behind due to her clear lack in confidence recently.

Chapter 26 was great, really emphasizes what the President was getting at, Toudou is like a Cog that just sets things in motion that ultimately turns those around her into better people, a kind act with selfish intentions leads to the softening of a Yakuza girl’s heart as she slowly develops a friendship with a girl she saved, while also having the effect of her peers viewing her differently, only Toudou can pull something like that off.

Chapter 23 and being called her wife seems to have been a turning point, leading to the big blush in 24 and the realization in 25.

Started happening a bit before that it seems, In chapter 21 Kimura’s mom mentioned how happy she was after the date in chapter 19 and how she was staying up late to try on the matching clothes Hiyama got her.
