Back to feeling bad for Nanase...poor girl doesn't even have a single real friend :/

Don't really agree with Yuni's feelings about being praised for "working hard". Just because you were fine with it and weren't reluctant doing the housework doesn't mean you didn't work hard! But again it's something she needs to talk to Nanase about if it bothers her.

ohhh I'm actually liking this change of events. Toxic friend is finally clicking that she's in love. I wonder who that initial blotted out girl is. The fact she redacts her is some scary shit.

Now we're also getting Taki girl involved too.

Ewww, that woman who keeps calling Fuuko ,Taki grosses me out! I hope she's taken out, I mean, removed from the story after bringing our two...heroines (lol) together! that's Fuu and Yuni, so Nanase can have have the childhood friend love!

That's an ominous but on point chapter title.

Rare show of vulnerability from Yuni. They might've had something nice in different circumstances, I think.

I always assumed no one had ever asked about her family since she doesn't seem to have any close friends, but it makes more sense that she felt the need to hide it since most of her school peers seem to come from much higher class backgrounds.

Heading towards Yuki and Fuu teaming up to break up Yuni and Nanase?

joined Nov 6, 2021

I'm surprised no one has brought up the fact that Yuki knew Nanase was a lesbian and dating a girl, spread malicious rumors about them, and caused them to break up? Which is probably the main cause behind her trauma and why she prefers hiding her relationships now.

Even beyond that, this chapter shows just how toxic and obsessive she actually is. There were a couple moments where it felt like Yuki was purposefully trying to get between Yuni and Nanase, and now this confirms she wants complete ownership of her. This is honestly more fucked up than Fuuko in my opinion, and goes beyond just being a toxic friend. This is behavior that makes you want to completely avoid them.

Before I thought Nanase and Yuki made sense as a couple, but now I think that's actually a terrible outcome for Nanase. Yuki is a huge red flag and would be a terrible partner to date.

Also forgot to mention that she justified spreading those rumors by implying she was protecting her from homophobia, which is hilarious.

To be honest, I'm not surprised at all. It was implied that she was toxic a long time ago with the glances and the possessiveness. The fact that she only realized now that she had romantic feelings towards Nanase surprises me though. She probably had internalized homophobia though. It doesn't justify her actions, but it does explain it.

Honestly I think she might have more issues than just internalized homophobia. She seems very mentally unwell.

I am glad that it's confirmed we have 0 normal girls in this Manga now.

Somebody please free Fuuko.

Also, she is really is just replaying her trauma with Yuni, isn't she? She is repeating the star and moon, but also integrating some of Mashiro's tactics since she doesn't have experience with better methods to keep someone interested.

This also explains Mashiro's annoyance. She would likely prefer Fuuko was only interested in her, though we don't know yet if she would have reciprocated at least a monogamous commitment.

What a bunch of rude adults, immediately assuming that she was stealing it when she wasn't doing it on purpose.

I'm with you on that one. Someone who would treat a young child like that shouldn't be a librarian. I mean it's a child! Scaring her like that might scare her away from libraries for life. And maybe even sour her on reading all together. Good work miss librarian you just did the opposite of your job. Jerk!

Honestly, this is quite unrealistic, especially for Japan. People are not confrontational, and would tend to resolve issue in the most peaceful way. Not saying this would never happen, but this is unlikely.

This is definitely forced drama for the sake of the story. But this story is all about drama, so nothing really surprised here :p

Who knows. For many of us a thing is interesting/fun until it became one's job, maybe she already hates her work.
