She definitely looks very suspicious but I still believe that it might actually be an accident.

I mean, by the rules of subversion in fiction aside, she has very few reasons to lie when the people in charge all believe it was the case, and because she was absent for so long (and the vampire standing before her is one of the OG vampires), any lie about her innocence would be a really bad one.

Yep, a quick Wiki search tells me that Rh-null is indeed the rarest that makes AB Negative pale in comparison. Like, only fifty or so discovered globally.

They're nothing like Futaribeya (although Futaribeya is still one of the best yuri series out there. No accounting for poor taste I guess.) (But yeah, Yukiko's usual work is nothing like Futaribeya so I wouldn't draw weird conclusions from her fluffy feel good series. Draw them from the pube plucking oneshot or the sadistic, induced vomiting one)

This one is great coming off the heels of the release of the very fun and very gay toxic lesbian vampire book Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil. If vampire yuri is your thing, i suggest anyone here check it out.

Maybe author's clout will influence this, but otherwise I strongly feel this will be yuri vampire series #907 that gets the axe. Am I aware this is only Chapter 2? Yes. Am I perhaps too jaded by recent experiences? Possibly also yes. Nonetheless ...

I went and read them and I am going to be honest I was expecting something more explicit with this description, I am a little disappointed but they were AWESOME, they were super simple but the premise itself is so unique that that’s enough, the pube plucking one is the best. But I must say, those one-shot are fluffy, the BDSM especially.

Yeah, that was silly. Interesting take on vampires though.

If they all really originate from one group of Progenitors I would guess some uniquely magic/occult shit went down that altered this one group of humans, long before there were ever any rumors of "vampires"—and even longer still before the word was ever written in texts remembered today.

I took as implying some mind-altering affect somewhere, she wasn't thinking straight.

That was an anticlimactic reveal, but I don’t really know what I was expecting.

This isn’t your average school murder mystery after all, and the focus on the “how” and “why” of this single kill would’ve been derailing from the point of the story, I suppose.

But that lore at the end of the chapter is really interesting. The level rankings and identity and whatnot. If the author is planning to take it to that direction…then it may cast some light on what this school and Shirotae is about.

(And this chapter is so short! Not nearly enough for a good event discussion!)
