Nice... I guess.

Nobody learned anything so all that drama was for nothing, again.

I'm so done.

Why does something wholesome get so much hate? I literally don't understand? Why can't people just bask in the positivity and energy of the series?

Because they feel the positivity is hollow and actually not very positive at all and the writing isn’t good. It’s not like people are this hostile to every wholesome series.

Good job, Mikawa!

Good job, Tomoko and Yui! ^_^

And good job, club president!

That is a weird thing to say about a chapter showing the exact opposite, with Yamada deciding to take on less work and make time for the two of them, and Kase making Yamada to her priority to such an extent that she even ran away from the training camp, something entirely unlike the earlier Kase who agreed to the running match over her leaving the dorm.

Rings for the couple.
That's very fast indeed o.o...

That's very sweet for both Yamada san and Kase san..

Do the rings and everything else mean we're near the end?

This series (prequel included) has gone through the various relationship checkpoints that most other manga would end at (first kiss, dating, smexy times, moving in together, etc.) and it's still kept on going. Plotwise, we've still got the gardening contest and Kase's rivalry with Doi to cover, so we've likely still got more to come for a while.

I’ve only recently discovered the series and has become one of my favorites. I had been looking for a story where the couple love each other and are committed to one another. Thanks to all the wonderful translators that keep bringing all the new chapters.

I honestly don't understand the hate for Kase in tha comments, I personally think it's a valid crashout. Yamada not coming to cheer her tournament is just the last straw. She's been worried about Yamada overworking herself, getting ulcers, then having to force herself to cook. So Kase took over cooking to give Yamada a break, and keep telling Yamada it's okay if you don't buy the bed cause you're thinking of me, I just don't want you to push yourself so much.

Then the night before tournament, Kase literally watch Yamada passed out from exhaustion while eating. The day after which Yamada was forced to break her promise to watch her tournament cause of: work!! Yes! The same damn thing that's been making Yamada so haggard.

We literally have a chapter with Yamada asking Mikawa, and Mikawa reminding her her habit of being hyper focusing on things, ignoring everything else and worrying people around her.

Also, this is not a hate on Yamada, but Yamada has also given Kase multiple time cold treatment over jealousy or misunderstanding cause she just can't open her mouth to ask which she usually never explained either, Kase just accidentally explained herself. Like being jealous over fucking melon drop, jealous over senpai, jealous about Fukami, jealous about the friend in Okinawa, promised Kase to come visit her in tournament and then run away early cause she can't handle being jealous over Kate's team members surrounding her etc etc

My point is: this is a wholesome story about two people being humans in a relationship. You have your run-in period, getting upset over trivial stuffs, kiss and make up, getting used to being in each other's life (and hair). It's not a big deal, they're working it out. Enjoy it or not smh
