This chapter really went with not one but TWO classic tropes: unrequited mutual love that never came to be because of a misunderstanding and afterschool classroom confession.

The first page for this chapter on a different site is a filthy BL scene and I felt proud for 5 seconds bc i thought the girls improved their BL skills. It was all just a dream, I need to bleach my eyes, I hate this chapter so much rn, but I still liked the lap kiss sequence.

That felt... strange. It feels like we're getting a peek inside the cracks of a relationship, without getting to see any sort of resolution by the end, even if the ending sounded hopeful somehow

People and relationships aren't always perfect. Even when there are cracks glaring straight at you, the resolution in this manga is an acknowledgement of Mei's faults and a reaffirmation of mutual love. It's the first step to a healthier relationship. Mei definitely needs to make it up to Yuiko with a bit more effort, but they do love each other a whole lot and are aware of it. The foundation's already strong so it's not that much of a stretch to think that they'll work it out somehow, but alas, we'll never know. Oneshots truly are such cruel pleasures.

Adorable. Light, sweet, and refreshing but still filling. It feels like my tainted soul is being cleaned by a cool breeze in the summer. Precious, pure, and just plain nice. I am reminded of everything good in the world once again.

The trip some chapters ago was from a different lottery. Madoka apparently has the devil's luck(hehe) to win another lottery last chapter. They took the 100k cash option to buy Madoka a phone bc she doesn't have telepathy and then bought a fancy rice cooker with what was left.
I'd say it was the right choice for Madoka's happiness, Homura's degeneracy, and the angy Mami panel.
