I appreciate the TL notes on this a lot honestly. The manga incorporating actual RL art pieces to represent the main character is a crazy detail. Banger in the making from the looks of it!

This story is serialized both on the web and in Comics EXE, an eromanga magazine, and all I can figure is that an editor saw a preserialization of it and couldn't understand why nobody had picked it up. I bought the first volume of this immediately when it was published, and it's one of my favorite manga of recent years. College art students, immaculate vibes, and that tattoo! Also I really like the art style.

The glorification of cigarettes last chapter felt a bit much, but everything else about this manga continues to be amazing.

Koma clearly knows what she's doing when it comes to being a wing women and Momo remains unreasonably hot. It's also kind-of funny that Kaori's drawn in a slightly different style from everyone else, but she sort-of snaps into the regular style when sufficiently shocked or flustered.

Actually, at least in this chapter, all three of the characters seem to have their own, very different, eye styles. Momo has a fairly traditional style with all of the parts well defined, Kaori has a childish-retro look, and Koma as a very simplified and symbolic look. It's interesting how that lines up with Kaori's and Koma's characters, but I'm not sure what the more traditional style is supposed to say about Momo. I also wonder if the fact that Momo keeps her style more consistently than the others has any significance. Similarly they seem to drift towards her style when they lose their own, but that might just be because her style is the least stylized.

Similar situation in Italy: industrial/packaged cigarettes ("normal", not hand-rolled ones) are so much more expensive than hand-rolled cigarettes that they're colloquially called "bougie cigs".

I'm happy this got picked up, really excited to see how people will react to a certain scene

And wow Kaori went big gay there. Not sure I have a good read on Momo yet, she said she's been hit on by women before and doesn't seem bothered by the concept, and she went for the whole roomie thing, but she's also not explicitly flirting. She flirts a little when Kaori stares at her and calls her pretty, but otherwise she's just super chill.

This author clearly things smoking is hot and is going the extra mile to flesh out the intricacies of it in order to characterize Momo more. You can tell how enamored Puebro is with her own OC on every page and i think that also why Momo's style is so consistent. The whole thing screams of Puebro having her brain-chemistry rewired by a lesbian situationship in college that shes pouring out onto her pages.

This strikes me as an extremely self-indulgent work which are imo some of the best works you can find.

Our author has a mission to spread the good word about how hot smoking lesbians are as shes gonna stick to it.

Love Koma's :D face on page 75. That's the look of someone who's over the moon that her plan went even better than expected.

I love this story so much. Koma is too relatable trying to get them together and Momo looked so immaculate dressed up, but also every chapter.
