Also, bear in mind the Komaki doesn’t just want Wakaba to hate her. She wants to have a permanent place in Wakaba’s heart. She’s convinced Wakaba will never love her the most, so she’s settled on making her hate her the most. That’s why she keeps taking her firsts, and why she can’t simply just stop talking to her. That’d make it too easy for Wakaba to forget about her.

I read the ln awhile ago and don't remember a few scenes the manga has gotten into . Its left out a few of my favorite scenes too. I think it's adding more story to it ?

I wish something would happen to move things forward…. It feels like the same beats being hit every chapter….

Dropped? I thought the novel was simply completed. Unless you mean the fan translations? I think Shuukura translation is still happening slowly but the translator has gotten busy.

The novel is completed. I don't know if there was a fan translation that dropped it though, but the story has been done for a while. I'm pretty sure there's been a full translation of the webnovel version or something.

The manga is about half way through the story right now though.

Umezono wants to be a couple with Wakaba, but she has the assumption that Wakaba rejected her when kids, so in her jealousy, she wants Wakaba to hate her (if Ume can't be what Wakaba loves the most, then she will be what she hates the most), the opposite of her original plan, but in order to achieve that, she does the opposite of the opposite, so she does (or forces) couple's activities to get hated from Wakaba, and it's working? and Wakaba gets her intentions but she gets the opposite effect from this scheme, in other words, a master-pet relationship with a stocolm syndrome effect but not really? Is this gonna end in Mission Failed Successfully?

They're happily making out and cuddling half naked after a perfect aquarium date and dinner that Wakaba loved. Mission has already failed successfully. They're both just too dense to know it. The game is in when they'll realize it, who will crack first and how absurd we can take all this.
