In a just world, this ends with her marrying the older sister and then there are TWO onee-sans and everyone lives ever after with not pedophilia involved

“I have to become the person who the person I love actually loves” = hijinks ensue,

(And by “hijinks” I mean “angst, emotional drama, misunderstandings, and heartbreak.”)

Oh, man. This is going to be a complete mess! Kasane is insane and Meguru is even more heartbroken than before. She is using Kasane to lick her wounds. Kasane really has to listen to Mimei's advice and figure herself out.

Yeah, this really feels like she not only came to the wrong conclusion but she's also going to add a whole new layer of potential messed up issues on top of those Meguru already has to deal with (^^) This is the type of stuff that ends up in a murder-suicide, which I REALLY hope Mimei will point out the next time Kasane talks to her. And by point out, I mean spell out in a way that Kasane will actually understand, as thick headed as she is :P

..... "looks like her father"

.........

What if... the marriage was faked and the father took the role of fiancee to fool Meguru into thinking big sis is in a relationship when shes actually not...?

.....Nah too far fetched...... or maybe...?

nah, it is too far fetched, meguru knows her father she would have spot it, plus if the father went for a ruse he could easily find a guy to stand in and take that picture. the truth is most likely she does get married with someone and meguru see is that way in order to convince herself that the marriage is wrong

plus it keeps in line with meguru's older sister previous behavior she really wasn't into the whole lesbian incest thing that meguru was pushing her in.

While this may even work for a while, I'm pretty sure it's the exact wrong thing to do here...

Nah I don't buy it. Hiromi is either lying or having a marriage of convenience just to satisfy her father's wishes. Deep down she knows incest is wrong that's why she is listening to her father in the first place but loves her little sister too much to not see her again so she went back.

Honestly I need to know why kasane broke up with meimei (or vice versa) so I can know which pairing I prefer.

This story is so good I can't wait for the next few chapters!

This has already been covered in a few different chapters. Memei broke up with Kasane because she realized Kasane did not really feel the same. Kasane was bubbly and liked Meimei. However, she was not really in love and was elusive. This is further shown by how Kasane was immediately fine after breaking up, as long as they remained friends.

Kasane would use the word "love" loosely, and that seemed to confuse Meimei, so when Meimei hears Kasane say she loves Meguru, Meimei "tests" Kasane's feelings (chapter 17). Meimei realizes that Kasane is actually committed to someone for the first time with Meguru and gives her advice. In an earlier chapter, Meimei told Kasane not to make the same mistakes with Meguru that she made in her past (basically of not being committed and bouncing from one thing to the next).

Kasane! No! That’s the wrong message to take from that, what are you doing?! T_T

Also just - Meguru’s sister. T_T I lowkey don’t believe anything she’s done was for her own sake and that messes me up.

Wow I can't believe I forgot thanks. Still I believe there's more to their story like what actually happened right before the break up.

Also if the story is ending soon then fine everyone gets a happy ending but as things are now it's just way too convenient. Older sister says forget me and goes to great lengths to do that. Younger sister realises she won't be with her sis again and kasane agrees to keep her happy forever...

Well, we still have to get Meguru to view Kasane as something completely separate from a replacement for her sister. Then they have to actually come together without that baggage. That's something that could take time, especially with outside interference and with Kasane's mistaken belief that she needs to further exemplify Meg's sister in order to be there for Meguru. Kasane is trying to show how committed to her love she is this time but there are still some high hurdles. I don't think that'll wrap up anytime soon.

I'm in the same boat of believing that Hiromi (onee-san) actually wants to be with Meguru, whether romantically or as best friends. She kept bringing up their father as a source for her actions, meaning they are not self-guided decisions. Instead of inter alizing those actions, she still views them as someone else's commanda over her. She doesn't want to get married but is doing it in order to see Meguru again within their father's jurisdiction. In other words, stating "this is what father wants" = Not saying "this is what I want." In addition, she kept reminding Meguru "I hope you'll understand this is the right thing" and no mention of what Hiromi wants. She never stated her disapproval of the old ways, and she never even said she loved the man or really wanted to marry him. All I'm saying is, there is room for interpretation.
Although, I do question Hiromi's intentions and true feelings. In ch.16 she never told Meguru she didn't want to do that stuff, just that it was wrong. But then she reported everything to their father, I guess, because she felt responsible and guilty as the older sibling?
Also, Kasane, get your head out your ass and don't act exactly like Onee-san! Gonna end up retraumatizing poor Meguru.

Normally I would say it is quite the asshole move of the older sister to move away and break off any contact but...well maybe it is for the best. Meguru clearly has some very unhealthy (at least for this yuri manga) incest issues that she has to overcome. Her sister leaving might be for the best.

The main heroine is taking the entirely wrong lessons from thi I’ve never seen a protagonist so I’ll equip to handle the main conflict in a Yuri story before lmao

Meguru pouring her heart out about the strained and borderline inappropriate attachment she has to her sister (to put it optimistically), but Kasane's lost in daydreams about sisters yuri and can't pay attention, lmao. Get your head out of the clouds, Kasane! This ain't no Mochi Au Lait caper! Stop trying to cosplay yourself into one!

Putting the incest and Kasane's horniness aside, I hope I'm not the only one that does think the father's actions are off putting.

"You are forbidden from seeing your sister and now I will marry you off to my older dude friend" just gives me all the wrong vibes.

Honestly, I agree with Meguru that it makes me want to throw up. Not sure why but I find it especially gross in this story - maybe because I'm afraid they'll just have Hiromi married off and never bring it up again. I'm not saying Hiromi should get with her sister but she deserves better than "live according to your father's wishes and maybe he'll allow you to do things :^)"

Agreed. This is one of the most batshit insane stories I’ve ever read on here, but I’m invested so I’ll keep reading.

This whole chapter was a series of "Oh no" moments. Including the MC going I don't want to fix her, I want to make her worse, with deciding to become more like the series.

Oh yeah the father is disgusting. She's an adult and she's only allowed to see her sister if the father "allows" it? Fuck that. Also marrying his daughter off to a man that looks like him? Fucking weird. She needs to find personal agency and rebel against him.

I feel like Meguru skipped over a certain aspect of the story in this retelling lmao
