Hime's dad kinda looks like Steve Albini. the famous late audio engineer and producer from the late 80's to 2020's. I wouldn't be surprised if Sumiko included him as a tribute since Albini is synonymous for producing with many bands from the 90's to the last ones of 2024.

So they haven't been talking much for how long now? Was their "fight" really that substantial? It didn't feel like something to last that long but we just time skipped--what weeks, or longer?

She'll definitely say yes (no reason not to, it's music related) and Mistuki will definitely not be direct about it. Would be nice if she interjected and they both went over to the kouhai's house but I'd be surprised if that's what happens. It's building up to a Christmas climax so I doubt we'll clear this up before then.

Aya is jealous that Mitsuki has become popular and is unable to talk to her about it because she knows she's being unreasonable and the alternative is admitting to Mitsuki that she's in love with her. The particular moment that set Aya off was in chapter 100 when Mitsuki invited some kouhais to the CD store. That's likely a place Aya really doesn't want to share with others.

Agreed. As teenagers, it’s common for us to overthink situations and make them seem like a bigger deal than they are, or rely on the other person to resolve an argument. But it does make for a good chapter development, and portrays the characters as their age group quite well, so I'm not complaining. :)
