My first thought was that it was quite odd, but after reading it again, I realized how realistic the situation was (in a sense). At some point, both characters did have feelings for each other, but one realized it too late. I find this story both very good and bittersweet. I liked it, but I can't give it too much credit. Talking to your long-distance boyfriend only six times in two years doesn't mean you have a strong enough connection to marry. Just knowing someone for a long time doesn't automatically mean you're close.
