Feels a little like the pacing may have sped up, so maybe the end is nigh. That's the vibe I'm getting anyways.

MC's bestie is hot, so if she doesn't want her, I'll take her.

"Don't think about the age different"...She's a minor. Their relationship is illegal.

Sorry but I’m a I supposed to like the main character? She’s flighty, kinda manipulative and sketchy as hell like I’m not exactly dying to root for her. Meguru herself seems in no position to be in any kind of relationship especially with a adult woman she should be in therapy

Yeah same, I'm skimming through this and I'm realizing how creepy Kasane is.

I wish Meguru had some actual good adults in her life aside from groomer #1, groomer #2, groomer apologist, and an absent father. (Just to save my ass, the groomer allegations are a joke...aside from #1)

It'll be so funny if the older sister only here because she told her husband about the incest situation and his response was, "Yeah, nah, that's disgusting. We're getting a divorce"

I didn't notice it was the real sister until I read the comments.

Ok now I'm having doubts. Is this the real sister?

I had to go back to double-check. It seems yes it is, based on the blood-related sister's hair being a match for the sillouhette we see when Meguru is talking through the intercom.

you can discern them by looking at their eyes

my 100% accurate prediction: Mii-chan regrets staying friends with her, and by encouraging her she hopes she will end up in prison so she doesn't have to deal with her bullshit ever again

No, I don't think this is a series where we're necessarily expected to like the characters. They're not supposed to be role models. This is a story about unhealthy people in unhealthy relationships. It may end with them somehow making it work and coming out of it less unhealthy than before, or we may be watching a train wreck in slow motion. Either can be fine.

Regardless, as a piece of entertainment media it is All the right kinds of wrong, which is probably my favorite tag that does not exist.

Yeesh, I try to let stories go places I wouldn't got the sake of telling a story, such as this kind of age gap thing, but I simply cannot abide by this MC looking at a perfect woman who loves her and going "no! I don't want her, I want this person who's the same type but a child instead!" I can accept a protagonist who makes the wrong choice but that's a lot harder to stomach when the right choice presents itself on a silver platter and she deliberately throws it away. Considering what the primary differences between Mimai and Megumi are (age and vulnerability) it REALLY does not look good for this MC compared to if Megumi was the only thing going on in her life.
Most age gap stories include details to make it feel a bit less potentially gross, typically making the younger person the more aggressive one, making the older one really earnest and devoted, etc. This author instead boldly refuses to offer us anything to ease the discomfort, not even being open about the discomfort with framing like we're supposed to be disliking these choices. It's even stopped being a comedy and is just a straightforward drama about if our hero will get to fuck a kid or not.

It's not entirely clear to me that this is a choice she actually made, in the last chapter it's explicitly shown that Mimai was the one who broke up after all. But I'll be honest with you here, I forgot how it looked like in earlier chapters :P Did Mimai hint at all at wanting to get back together? All i remember is mostly sighing regretfully but otherwise being on the verge of being done with her shit.

EDIT: I skimmed through all chapters and sure enough, Mimai even says to Kasane something to the tune of "you start relationships easily and then you quickly get bored with it" (although combined with the very latest chapter there is a possibility that Mimai just got jealous over something for no reason but I dunno).
Anyway, Mimai's general behaviour suggests to me that she really doesn't want to be together with Kasane anymore, so I don't think this is actually an option (this of course says nothing about the Meguru thing).

EDIT2: I guess I should have just reread the last chapter instead lol, I guess that counts as being presented a choice even if Mimai was probably just screwing with her to make her think about the situation, at least in my opinion, I don't think she actually wanted to get back with her :P

This is peak entertainment, it's like a car crash with fire everywhere, you don't want to go near it, but you can't take your eyes off it either. Kasane is definitely a detestable person, she's really creepy towards underaged girls same goes for the bio sister, she for sure groomed Meguru. Ah yes, groom, pedofilia, and incest, all in one package.

"Don't think about the age different"...She's a minor. Their relationship is illegal.

Fr, like Mimei you're suppose to be the sensible one here.

LOL, I was hoping for Kasane and Mimei to get back together bc it wayyyy better than dating a minor....but this is also a good ending, if not the best.

Kasane is written to be a self-aware pedo, there are so many instances where she addresses the glaringly huge problem (even if in a comedic tone). Ofc she would choose the child. It isn't a wrong choice, its a right choice for Kasane's character and is expected. The real question is whether or not the author would let them have a happy ending. (I really hope they don't and everyone gets therapy).

The younger one is more aggressive here, but not for the sake of easing discomfort. So far Kasane has been the one to have these 'misdemeanors' being attracted to a minor and all. But for a change, Meguru is the one that initiated the kiss. WITHOUT CONSENT, while Kasane is incoherent and realllllyy drunk. We just get more and more uncomfortable by both characters, there's no longer a right side to be on, or a character to really root for.

cool and all yeah, but seriously, filler now? in this crucial moment in the series? I have been enjoying this relatively but this right here seems just like lazy writing
