Looks like Christmas is in need of saving!

With how this volumes played out, it wouldn't surprise me if in a volume or two Yuki's promoted to co-lead.

She's gotten way more than the typical third-wheel. Heck, even a supporting cast.

I'm very confused by what just happened. There was a non-sequitur about Tae trying to help a very young-looking lady in 22 and then suddenly at the end of 23 Mai is sad and unable to go to their Christmas thing with the rest of the kids. I guess by the laws of fiction these two events are probably related, but I'm not clear on how.

I did not see that coming xD I was convinced it was gonna be another member of the group, then she just wasn't there for a chapter.

Solid reveal and twist. I remember someone saying in the comments about wanting to meet Mais mom cause she was probably a knockout, but instead we now know why Mai was so comfortable around short adults xD

This raises a very important question: will Shino be into Mai's mother?

My theory is this will end up with Tae going to Mai's house to check up on her and meeting her family. Maybe it'll end up sweet and cute, but it might also make MORE DRAMA which has to be cleared up in the fourth volume, prolly involving getting Mai's parents to go "Yes sure let's allow an obvious lolicon around our child"

Mai's mom doesn't seem very happy to see her though, so I suspect lots of drama on our horizon.

Tae makes a habit of grabbing unattended young girls. Great ice-breaker for meeting the parents. Plus, she has no excuse, since she's mistaken for underage, too. She should have twigged to the Mom not being a child.

I knew the girl was obviously an adult but I didnt see THAT coming lol.

Maybe Tae and her mom got in a Freaky Friday type situation?
