Slight caution though, things don't really get better until chapter 8 and the guy gets a redemption arc and "good guy" treatment by both girls that I don't think he deserves in the slightest.

An interesting take is that since it's from 2020, the disclaimer from the publisher is about people not wearing masks and practicing social distancing.

I liked this manga cos it's angsty as hell, great for late night reading... But that kiss ugh now I gotta cleanse my mind. I'm hoping yoh is gonna kick him in the balls in the next chapter

Yeah, I know, these tropes were already stale by then. But as a reminder, it got published in a purely shoujo magazine (and as far as MU can be trusted, it's the only yuri series they ever published) and in the end, it doesn't go the way people think it will. Some people are biased because they read up until chapter 9 in Spanish, but there are 13 chapters total.

Just out of curiosity, is it really 13 chapters? I read the raws on cmoa and they only had until 12, did I miss a chapter? Seemed like a definite ending though...

Someone who has finished reading the manga. Spoil it for me. I wanna follow but I don't wanna waste my time if the story fails to deliver. I don't particularly care if it goes yuri, poly or het, as long as it doesn't become comedically ridiculous doing so.
Save for the typical angst I can't get a read on how the story intends to go about things.

To complete the answer it's about 20 pages long and it's kind of an epilogue

Short hair girl molests her friend, short hair boy forces himself on short hair girl, they totally match, I ship both.

I was kinda starting to ship MC with the guy. Partly because being in love with Misa feels so suffocating (for now at least) and that molestation scene did turn me off a bit. But then Ren goes and does that too and it also ticked me off. So it's like okay why are you peeps like this?

Still, I kinda wanna see what happens. I'm just feeling the cringe for now.

Ren sucks but man was that kabedon hot.

I was here to see yuri not that.

Well, I for one am still quite enjoying this manga; I think it's interesting how Misaki is ensconced in a love triangle with two toxic, sexually assaulting love interests. I certainly understand why people don't like it but this sort of melodrama is entertaining too sometimes.

Everyone keeps talking about the kiss at the end there, and while, yes, that is beyond icky and creepy, are we just going to ignore all the other shit Ren did this chapter? Like, first we’ve got that whole “make amends” shit that sounds like it came right out of a porn opening. Then you have him going “Oh, she doesn’t want to join the student council? Well then I’ll FORCE her to join the student council,” and (ab)using the powers of his position to make that happen. And let’s not forget the fact that, as he is holding Yoh down, he feels the need to bring up (well, imply, but the same principle applies) that he’s a sadist.

I’m not trying to justify Yoh’s whole nighttime molestation thing, but I think it’s safe to say that this dude is well-beyond being an absolute creep. He’s just, blegh. I’m think that I’m going to put this one aside for awhile. At least until it gets closer to the ending.
