Not liking this so much as some of Zanka's previous works. That's not "a mistress who tempts her mad", that's outright "a mistress that orders her maid to shag her". It has losty the charm of, say, "cat maid and mistress", where you DO have them both tempting and teasing each other (and admitedly rolling with it with all their worth) and they don't get to the shag part until AFTER the "let's build up some tension" part. WHich was utterly missing from this one.

Cuddles, kisses, hand-holding, caressing and other moar features.

Not everything requires an origin story. Starting the narrative off in media res is a time-honored literary tradition.

Good point. You are right on that. Yet, it's just a matter of preference, I do enjoy my exposition for stuff based upon relationships (including smut, to quote our yuri n wine). In media res is, IMHO, better used to set up a later explanation than to avoid having to do it, and based upon this chapter 1, it seems more a case of the latter than of the former.
I guess we'll have to see what Zanka does in later chapters.

So even though we've already seen (checks notes) 55 previous chapters of Zanka Maid/Mistress stories, almost every single one of them consisting of gentle cuddles and cutesy foreplay (not that there's anything wrong with that), it's still vitally important that this story show us yet another iteration of the same gentle cuddles and cutesy foreplay before getting down to business. I see.

Ikr? It's part of the fun of reading these, wondering when will Zanka run out of idea for these maid yuri stories.

^There's lots of settings they have yet to touch- sci-fi maids, fantasy maids, wild west, victorian england, edo japan, harem of maids, super hero+maid (or a superhero maid), loli maid, supernatural, yakuza/action maids... etc etc.

Zanka really just said “the time for teasing is Over” lmao I love this and I agree with @Morter it’s more ecchi than NSFW but I’m not complaining.
