I dunno, I kinda like that it was so sudden? She made e the decision very suddenly but it's not like it hasn't been building toward that. But also consider that his chapter is primarily from the husband and friends' perspectives, of course it's going to seem very sudden to them, especially the one friend who's freaking out because he had absolutely no idea about all of the stuff that we the readers know and what the husband has picked up on. I get why people might not like it but I think it conveys what this would be like for everyone fairly well. They could still revisit her decision in the final chapter of course but I don't really think it's needed.

Ok, so on page 19 when she says "I don't think so" I'm confused at what she's responding to? I can only guess it was initially her saying no before changing her mind after Adachi's questions, but it doesn't really seem to me like that's what it is?

Maybe I'm stupid, but even in context of the story, I have no idea what they mean by RomeoJulietting. All I can think of is suicide which it definitely isn't.

Seriously, idk why, but something about these 'interactive' chapters bothers me. It kinda reminds me of a cheap gal game, maybe? Like...I'm reading because I like seeing them interact with each other and watching the relationships grow, not to perv on them.

But I know gal games are big in Japan, and given this manga's beginnings...I guess I'm probably in the minority when it comes to this manga's base.

I really feel like all of these series fall completely flat when they start getting into the non romance stuff. All the stuff about the demon lord, going to the past, stopping whatever evil, etc is never interesting in these series. Better than the clumsy attempts at social commentary in I Favor The Villainess at least.

I have't read the series in a long time so I randomly clicked on this chapter, I couldn't remember what this series reminded me of and now I got it, this series gives me such Nana vibes.
Also that non-Black person having those braids sure is...something.
