Hah, I'm greatly amused to find out it's going to he getting an English release since I picked up a Japanese copy of the first two volumes like a week ago just to have them since I honestly never expected an English release. It really is amazing how big this little Twitter manga has become.

Trying to find a short One Shot about a Wasp Girl protecting a Caterpillar Girl as she goes into her cocoon to become a butterfly but then the reader finds out the wasp is actually one of those parasite wasps that lays their eggs in other bugs so when the cocoon opens up it's another wasp girl. I'm pretty sure I read it on here, but I've been unsuccessful at finding it. Many thanks if anyone knows it.

I finally got my copy of the last volume in. It's sad to know the series is over now. I've enjoyed it over the years, and I look forward to reading it all again in the future.

Oh how I miss the days of Myspace. I'd see stuff like this on friends' pages all the time. I'm sure it's more just that I'm old and bitter now, but social media back in those days just felt more pure and fun to me.

Maybe it's just me, but there's just so many of these "villainess" stories lately that it's hard to find the entertainment in them anymore. This one does seem to subvert the trope a bit more than the majority of them, so I'll probably give it a shot, but seriously, this genre has become way too over oversaturated.

I dunno, I like when there's a lot of different takes on the same theme. It's always fun to see what different authors do with it.

Then again, I'm the type that doesn't ever get tired of reading similar stories over and over and over as long as they're enjoyable.

I highly recommend it. Nothing against the manga, it is good, but the LN is just so much more because of just how much you get to see into the minds of Adachi and Shimamura. Shimamura in particular loses a lot in the transition because a lot of her characterization is in her inner dialogue. Adachi's constant state of gay panic is also much more entertaining when you get to see her thoughts at the same time as well.
