When I saw the cover and the title, I couldn't but think about this.

It's weird how fast she is to dismiss the idea of calling an ambulance. Even if she didn't have the bruises, she could have internal bleeding, head trauma, or a number of other medical emergencies that may not be obvious. As if the dispatcher or the paramedics would laugh at her for being concerned about an unconscious teenager passed out on the street.

I get that "it's not supposed to be realistic" but then why even bring up the thing that a normal person would do.

Man, I could swear I saw this premise somewhere else.

I'm sure there's a perfectly ridiculous--um, I mean sensible--explanation for the bruises and money and stuff.

I gotta say, I like the flair of the introduction--just a pair of naked legs sticking up and you're thinking "Interesting shrubbery this building uses".

I'm interested! Aside from the bruises I saw what I think were bite(?) marks, so I'm honestly not sure what's going on here... definitely wanna see more though!
