i'm not sure the mc being so outright opposed and confused and complaining about movies this whole time is a good way to act when the premise of the story is senpai talking about movies.

Also others are saying how there better be more than just girls talking about movies. Personally I thought the manga made it clear there was going to be more with the loose ends such as the lesbian porn, the redirection back to ecchi using the panties, and mystery surrounding the senpai's talk with her father.

Personally I think the art is worth reading for. Hot girls plz and our MC's gay panic is nice. Also it's refreshing to have a main character that's just like "welp I guess I'll have sex!"

I liked the premise a lot. Its a first for a yuri story so i'm all in. That senpai is worth listen to boring movies all day.

I love how ready the protagonist was to get laid. She realized she was in room 13, with a sexy girl who was potentially propositioning her and her first instinct wasn't "Oh no, I need to clear this up and go" it was "Hell yes I'm going to tap that!"

In the original One Thousand and One Nights, Scheherazade makes love to the king every night, then, as dawn comes close, she begins to tell the king a tale so gripping and riveting that, when the sun is up and the time for Scheherazade's execution has come, the king is forced to postpone it until the next day -- because he wants to know how the tale ends! This goes on for one thousand and one nights, hence the name.

It appears to me that the author of this manga has taken the elements of the original plotline and reshuffled them... and the result is a story about a sexy and beautiful temptress who takes a different girl into her bed every night and forces them to listen to an incredibly dull and boring otaku-ish rant about her favorite fictional works, with the (vaguely implied) promise of lesbian sex as a reward if they manage to stay awake till the end. Up to now, not even one girl has passed the test.

I assume that Shie's rules allow for a girl who has failed once (or even more than once) to take the test again... thus making it possible for our overeager MC to make, every chapter, a new attempt at getting that reward.

Hmm, that raises the question of who the MC actually is. Perhaps blondie will be a one-shot, and we'll move on to someone else and Shie, and someone else again.

I reckon senpai would have done it with mc if she had stayed up for the whole story. Like a "I'll give my first time to whoever can listen to the whole story" kind of deal. Why else would senpai have given mc her underwear? Watch the damn movie mc, and go back and get some!

The art is fabulous and the story unique. Hopefully the author decides to give us some action or at least development before the gimmick gets old.

So, to be cynical, does this actually go somewhere with the yuri (preferably fast) or is it just an excuse to talk about movies? Because frankly I don't know if I can take more chapters with this level of teasing. It was painful to read.

Judging by the raws up to chapter 12 and 37 it's just teasing to have a reason to talk about movies. Not sure about the standards set for the 'Romance' tag but it seems to be misleading here.

^Sad to hear that. I would be fine with yuri tease as long as the ending would be satisfying, but come on. I don't know what this author was thinking.

It's not, but that's not a high bar to clear. Apparently at the last chapter it's revealed that they're half-sisters and they end up as friends; the end.
