Sorry, but it takes more than an androgynous face to look like the other gender.
It may sadden some trans and some people who support them, but it's the reality of many of them.
In theory, if this is a transgirl, she could stay the same and even sport a beard and say "I'm a girl", there would be no reason to doubt her.
But it's quite difficult, or almost impossible, to ignore the gender stereotypes.
Also, the other guy didn't say that he was gross or ugly. He just said, honestly, that it was still obvious he's a boy.
Doesn't mean that he wouldn't like him as a boy at some point.
