I would love an entire multi-volume series just about movie senpai and crossdressing kouhai

So we've got Astronomy Lesbians, Game Dev Lesbians, Rock Climbing Lesbians, Hot Spring Lesbians, and now Theater Lesbians. Good stuff. What will they come up with next.

I need cooking lesbians and food porn. Gimme gimme.

I'm pretty sure there's a series about that on this site. Can't remember the name though, sorry.

The Secret Recipe comes to mind.

This artist has made a bunch of these Machikado Mazoku comics, and many are translated on Danbooru. They're all adorable, even with the kinda odd peanut-shaped heads the characters tend to be drawn with.

This is great. The Yuri chapter is top notch. And there's YoshiMako as well? Truly a masterwork.

I liked the ending. I interpret the conversation the girls in the bookstore were having about Beniko's happy endings straining suspension of disbelief as a metacommentary on the story itself. Beniko writes stories where her characters' love overcomes all obstacles and they get a happily-ever-after always. The lovers' suicide made her feel the same as the one bookstore girl feels (that romantic happy endings are unrealistic) and consequently she was unable to finish her book. But all that was just another obstacle for her and Yuki's love to overcome, and when they get back together Beniko finishes her book and returns to success. The same is true of Yuki's dad, who has an "unrealistic" change of heart and decides to let his daughter run off and be with Beniko because she is in love and that is what would make her happy. And the girls in the bookstore kind of relate all this to the reader of the manga in an indirect way with their debate about the endings (specifically the endings) of Beniko's books.

Of course we are talking about a character's take on a fictional work within their own fictional world, though, so in a way it is kind of like the story is talking directly to any readers who might identify with Yuki. They are the Yuki reading about Yuki reading about her Yuki. If the reader sees it as just an unrealistic ending, however, maybe the reader is more like the bookstore girl, and really also like the suicidal lovers whose love did not manage to overcome all obstacles.

Or maybe I'm dumb. Without the meta part, it does seem on the face of it like a bit of a rushed ending. But secretly I'd rather be a Yuki.

I reread the story. You're right, and that certainly solves the tag issue - but the whole rest of the story becomes a very different, and darker, piece. Yumi is revealed as a sly manipulator that has been stringing Yoeko along for years, since childhood really, by pretending to be an airhead. Even after having a boyfriend and having a child by him, she is still keeping a grip on Yoeko as her security blanket.

Given the title, I suppose I should've been able to figure it out on my own, but my mind was bent on casting this as another sad "unrequited love" story. So I was definitely wrong - but it also seems to put Yumi firmly within the "depraved bisexual" trope, so I'm not sure how much of a good thing that is.

I think that's an uncharitable reading of Yumi to say the least. Mainly, I don't think that Yumi has been leading Yoeko on this whole time because Yumi says "ever since that day" on page 14, implying that she only fell in love with Yoeko when Yoeko stepped up for her when Yumi's parents died and her boyfriend left her. Yumi was pregnant at the time, and her daughter is 3 in the story, so presumably Yumi has only been in love with Yoeko for about 4 years. To speculate a bit, it kind of makes sense that Yumi would not have seen Yoeko in a romantic light until then, since there is such a huge age gap (about 14 or 15 years?) between them, and since they had known each other so long.

It really boils down to at what point the thought blocks stop being in Yoeko's voice and switch over to Yumi. I think the last one in Yoeko's voice is on page 11, where she says she didn't expect Yumi to get pregnant. After that, the thoughts are all Yumi's, except for the last page where it is both of them. Yumi asking if she is being unfair is her thinking that it is wrong for her to rely on Yoeko's previous promise to protect her as a means of preventing Yoeko from leaving her, since Yumi has probably not confessed and seems to see herself in a negative light (and probably as an undesirable romantic partner) based on how she talks about herself.

Kanker sores really can be that bad. And they last for ages sometimes. I get them fairly regularly, and if they are in a spot that is easy for food to touch, it makes eating so painful that it's better to just avoid it.

Personally, I'd be pretty upset if my girlfriend intentionally gave me a kanker sore just because she was afraid I wouldn't be constantly thinking about her. Not cool.

You realize she didn't actually have a canker sore in the first place, right?

I was under the impression that the wound on her mouth set up as a canker sore, and that's why it was so painful and lasted so long. In my experience, cuts on the lips and gums can easily become ulcerous.

I'm looking for a yuri story I read a long time ago. I recall that it had at least two chapters, though maybe more. I mostly remember it from the last chapter, which had a major shift in tone from the earlier ones.

The main characters are a tomboyish-looking girl and a long-haired girl. In the first part of the story they get together, and as I recall there was a sex scene. It was a pretty cute and sweet story at first.

In the last chapter, though, a girl with glasses is introduced. Apparently she has been spying on the main couple and taking pictures of them while they were together. The glasses girl confronts the tomboy and plans on blackmailing her with the photographs she took. However, when glasses girl tries to threaten her, she instead nervously asks the tomboy to kiss her. She is implied to have secretly been in love with the tomboy and was going to blackmail them out of jealousy. When glasses asks for a kiss, the tomboy gets very forceful with her and pretty much rapes her. It's kind of crazy and really cast the tomboy (who up to that point had been a sympathetic character) in a different and very negative light for me when I originally read this story. I would like to read it again and see if it was really as bad as I remember lol.

Again, it has been a long time since I read this, probably 10 years or so. I have tried searching through relevant tags on Dynasty, but have been unable to find it. Thanks in advance for the help!

Was it this? https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/fun_after_school

That's it! Thanks a bunch! (turns out she didn't have glasses after all...)

Atoki's YuuParu is always so great.

This is definitely one of their more introspective and less blatantly yuri works, but I like it a lot. I think the SA cast is one of the best in the Touhou series, so I love works like this that dramatize their world.

Cute!

Four-page yuri stories are rapidly becoming their own genre.

Maybe my goggles are on a little tight, but I've been sensing yuri between these two since the first episode

I'm detecting basically no yuri here. It's possible that Kotani-san isn't so much a pervert as she is a shameless mooch who prefers to thieve her neighbor's undergarments (as well as her bath) rather than get her own.

Actually, in that context, I think its funnier.

Just thought you guys might be interested to know, it seems that there are some additional pages to this manga on the artist's twitter: https://twitter.com/konpuudo/status/874038687738150912

(Sorry if this was already posted here somewhere, I didn't see it in this thread)
