I feel like I've seen the "this crane game stuffed animal looks like you" thing a lot.
I’m never sure if stuff like this is just coincidence, one mangaka imitating another, or convergent evolution, especially since scanlations have a variety of time relationships to the original publications—sometimes stories show up here years after they first appeared in print.
I am a bit leery of the sudden spate of hedgehogs, though—subliminal propaganda prior to an alien hedgehog invasion, perhaps?
