no im not, im asking why they bother when they know it will get terrible reactions in the comments, same reason all my lets plays are twitch only

Maybe because the most popular stuff gets almost over 10k views and Dynasty Reader would be insane if they just catered to probably not even a quarter of the people that wanted to express their opinion?

Think about it, Stretch would be long gone, if that was the case

Firstly, hiiiiiiii horn! I see you're still doing editing stuff :)

Hi there! Why yeah, after honing my skills for so long, I figured it'd be a waste to just stop completely after the group shut down... I'll keep going for at least a while longer.

no im not, im asking why they bother when they know it will get terrible reactions in the comments,

I can't speak for the translator, but that there is EXACTLY why I bother doing it. ;)

Oh my fuck. Another fucking NTR series. GFDI. There is a weirdly large amount of people in Japan, who have a pretty low view of lesbians, aren't there?

I'm not sure how you connected those dots. The bulk of NTR content is from straight H-manga scenarios. If I had to say NTR is a "low view" of women in general regardless of sexuality. Because they are "easily" seduced.

Haha. Call me twisted, but from my perspective most (het) NTR comes off as a low view on men (the protagonists). The core tragic flaw which basically makes up the essence of NTR is the protagonist's mistake in putting their lover/object of love on a pedestal. By ignoring/not noticing their partner's sexual/romantic/emotional desires, essentially by failing to recognize their partner as fully human, the protagonist loses them to someone else. I do find it difficult to enjoy every NTR out there because some of them are simply too degrading of women in the stereotypical pornish way for my taste, but I consider it a decently entertaining genre in general in no small part thanks to the butthurt it can generate in audiences, especially for het works.

In any case, regarding this piece in particular: I like Kuzushiro's works in general, and I like this one just on principal because I think it's dumb to get butthurt over NTR, but I have to admit that the fact that Kuzushiro is a dude does come through a bit too clearly in the work. The sex in this was reasonably delicious but as far as pure eroticism in yuri goes I think plain old cheating has more appeal than all the baggage that comes with NTR. NTR is basically the poor man's tragedy (in the ancient Greek sense) for fuckups who have had their heads rotten by porn. Essentially, I'd have to say that Kuzushiro had to have been a guy to even have thought of making this work. Not particularly what I'm looking for in yuri. On the other hand, though, this piece is still pretty great just 'cause it's (finally) a non-subtext work from Kuzushiro. I could comfortably describe Kimi no tame nara shineru as one of my freakin' favourite yuri series, but the fact that (as far as I can tell) Shonagon and Hime never got their pedo on remains one of my great disappointments.

Anyway, back to the exposition about the point of NTR (and why that's what this story is). Like the title suggests, the focal point of catharsis in NTR is the realization that 'everything' (the bad emotions the protagonist feels) is "your (the protagonist's) fault'. As far as the 'betrayal' of the protagonist's lover goes, 'you' were complacent in noticing what they truly desired, 'you' were the one who placed them on a pedestal, 'you' failed to understand/accept/connect with them on a human (given that it's porn, portrayed in the lowest animal sense) level. Your Apollonian ideal crumbled beneath the waves of Dyonesian chaos. The despair of the realization that you were the spur to your own destruction, the regret towards the tameless, boundless imperfection/unknowability of the universe, birth a carthartic response towards the world. In the context of the story, Ayaka and Kanako had been gradually developing a non-platonic relationship. Due to Ayaka's continued treatment of Kanako as a child/little sister, Kanako developed a desire to be perceived more maturely (i.e. as a proper lover). Raising the issue with her senpai after feeling like she was getting nowhere with Ayaka, Kanako discovered unexpectedly that her senpai could give her both the sense of maturity she wanted and more ;P. Ayaka then discovers to her shock that Kanako is really more mature than she had ever imagined, while Kanako revels in her childish behaviour around Ayaka out of petty revenge and superiority for Ayaka's original failure. Whether from Kanako's perspective or Ayaka's own, the story is an excoriation of Ayaka's tragic flaw, a chorus of "your fault". The tragic execution of the story is pretty decent, just a shame that it's fettered by the sexed up frame of NTR.

When it really comes down to it, isn't this basically the porn version of At the Bottom Of the Stairway To Adulthood? The entirety of the Love triangle and NTR is in the author playing with the reader's expectations, setting them up to think there is or should be a romantic relationship between the main character and her point of focus, when in fact there is neither.

^^ a perfect example of a good relationship between reader and writer, kudos

good writers give you the material to work with, the interpretation is entirely up to one self, not to say that the nay sayers ''just don't get it'', but it's clear that they are already at a bad start with the NTR

Oh you're absolutely right that it pictures men in a bad light, not having sex with your absolutely perfect in every way wife for 2-3 years is plain retarded unless there's some serious health issues. And even then, the penis is not required for sex ( crazy IKR!). Although, one cannot forget the blackmail NTRs where the women simply falls into depravity while trying to save her husband's job or something. All in all, it paints no one good really.

This was hot, you guys can hate on it all you like, but this was really good.

This doesn't feel like NTR to me because Ayaka doesn't agonize and despair that her bestfriend and object of her love is in a relationship with another girl; instead she gets off to it. Kanako keeps her relationship a secret and Ayaka keeps her masturbation and fantasies about the relationship a secret and so both come to terms with their situation and remain friends.

I suspect that both know about each others secrets, even though that isn't stated, but that's just me. Something like that doesn't usually remain a secret for very long.

In no way this is a porn version of "At the Bottom of the Stairway to Adulthood"! The relationships were different and it was a 'win win' situation in the other story. Everyone was happy at the end. This story left a bad feeling in me. I had to google what NTR even means. It fits this story perfectly.... The Cheating tags really doesn't work. Childhood friends weren't officially dating.

Now I gonna go and read Citrus to get rid of this bad taste.

...Why would you read Citrus to get rid of the bad taste? Regardless of my personal opinion of Citrus, there isn't really anything happy and fluffy going on in that series right now...in fact, I would think it would just sour your mood even more...O_o

I liked it. It was dark realistic, can't always be fluff. They were both pretty crappie to each other (talking on the phone to ur friend while having sex isn't cool) but it could have been worse. I really liked that line at the of part 2, "In front of you, I'll be as cute as you like." Nice read.

So i've finally read this to see what the fuss is all about and well... this certainly was NTR... Kinda... Really weak if i have to say, Digimon 02's NTR was stronger than that
I'm not really feeling pissed off at this, it just came down to 先輩 making the first move and the feeling of devastation over Ayaka's tragedy was softened by her messed up arousal
Not that i liked this story though, just my view on the subject

I guess technically it's not cheating but it still hurts my heart. I've been in Ayaka's shoes with a girl before and was desperately in love with her for about a month before she started seeing some guy. Ouch.

imo, the reason all of you feel disgusted by this work is simply because the senpai showed her creepy side while seducing kanako. While it's true that the senpai maybe just fooling around and make use of kanako's weakness, I think you all won't feel the NTR if senpai doesn't seduce kanako into having sex with her. and the cheating tag is not appropriate as well, as ayaka DID NOT go out with kanako, and neither did she confess her love to her. this is just a twisted version of a normal triangle love in which the senpai use sex to overpower kanako. If only ayaka act out much sooner, kanako will not fall to the senpai's trap

I can't get that "Kanako". So, she has feelings for Ayaka but she could have sex with her senpai just because senpai said "i love you"? did she really love anyone at all or just a slut? I can't stand that kind of character.

Btw, I don't think this story have anything like "cheating".

Kanako said "I love you" while the senpai was pleasing her, she only said it because the senpai was giving her something that she has (assumingly) always wanted. Kanako didn't love Ayaka, she just wanted her dear childhood friend Ayaka to know who she really is (which is the girl that's extremely into sex and not the childish girl that Ayaka calls her). She hid her sex buddy from Ayaka because of how Ayaka has always thought of her as childish and also because the senpai wanted to keep it a secret.

Kanako loves sex. Ayaka loves Kanako. The senpai probably has some sort of past. That's all there is to it.

look at the gap in perception of these two pages:
http://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/your_fault#1
http://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/your_fault#32

if you have spent your entire life around someone and you don't understand that sometimes what your friend says is not the way they really perceive you (not only that, look at page one, ayaka says "don't hug me!" then goes and willingly holds hands directly after that), then you don't deserve them. not once did ayaka mention her thinking that kanako was childish in her 15 some pages of her POV, not once (she actually does the opposite and calls herself childish, essentially for trusting kanako). the point being ayaka doesn't think of kanako being childish.

ayaka>kanako, kanako doesn't deserve ayaka's feelings. and i am so done. lately my yuri manga reading experience has been filled with angst and rage. i should have never taken a break from homework.

speaking of which i have seen some pretty iffy angst tags (where i thought it wasn't angst), but this one doesn't have one.......?

It's Ayaka's own fault, you know? If she'd wanted Kanako, she should have pursued her vigorously, rather than crying softly about some 'pure love' bullshit and thinking to herself 'surely she'll notice my feelings!' Now, Alpha-senpai's got the girl, and she doesn't have any problems getting Kanako off, from the look of it. She wanted Senpai's fingers fondling her wet, engorged lily.

You snooze you lose Beta-chan. Even lesbians need to get red pilled. Seriously.

(As an aside, some of you are projecting a little too hard. It's kind of creepy, really. You do realize that Senpai didn't steal Kanako from you, right?)

Life isn't all about love, there are lots of other factors at play. People don't always end up with people they love. A lot of the time they just say it because they are too ignorant to realise otherwise or they need justify it somehow. So maybe she didn't love senpai and senpai definitely didn't love her. But that doesn't make her a slut. She's only desiring and sleeping with one person that she already trusted and admired, isn't wasn't some random person off the streets. I'm sure she loved the other girl but not in that way. Someone else offered her what she wanted so she took it because there wasn't a reason not to. Of course I'm not saying she's not f****d up, any good character is.

Ohh i actually liked this. The art style rally got me, and i liked how seemingly sinister the senpai was (though she may have just been stalkerish...takling her prey). though, imo i would classify this as cheating.

side note, cant help but wonder why many people dislike it. Perhaps a few of you guys had your share of "unnrequited love" and never confessing (where it was possible your crush liked you back but to scared to say it too)...idk

Is there another chapter/sequal to this?
