Akemi has no idea what's going on and I have no idea why I find this fact funny

This manga is something similar what happened to me at age 14. Me, sitting between two sisters on the same bed, both of them a little younger than me.
Younger girl kissed my cheek (falling all over me), then I kissed her older sister in a cheek, and then I returned kiss to younger (because I did not want her to feel lonely or neglected), and she kissed me back again, and I kissed her sister again (not to make her feel lonely or neglected as well), and all of us made many rounds of kissing (only in cheeks), in that room, on school vacation.
But I never called it "maternal instinct", like Akemi. I knew exactly what I feel and what I wish
(to kiss them in the lips), but we all were too shy to try, blushing with every kiss we shared.
Those were my blessed days of yuri. Then I found it all in manga, so many years after.
And now I see how blessed I was. And kissed so many times by two beautiful girls I liked.

I think I should re-read the first chapter. cause gotta be honest I think I loke girl #2 and #3 a bit more, though I agree that it seems the first girl is the only one who actually has feelings for her while the other two just lack proper affection

Now imagine if she were a teacher instead......

Crazy theory incoming:
What if this is actually a story about super-humans who are oblivious to their powers?

Akemi has the ability to attract other super-humans to her.

The Chapter 2 girl, Reina, has the ability to cause earthquakes. In the second chapter, whenever she expresses a strong emotion , anger (chapter 2, pg 14) and love for Akemi(chapter 2, pg 23), an earthquake occurs.

The Chapter 3 girl Yua has the ability to attract older men towards her. A pretty bad power, in my opinion.

However, the Chapter 1 girl, Shion, actually has the power to give people abilities. It's not a coincidence that the people closest to her( her friends Reina and Yua) all have superpowers. Akemi was just an ordinary middle-aged woman , and then after meeting Shion, school girls start falling in love with her. Why?Consider this page. Right after Akemi touches Shion, Shion immediately falls for her. Of course, the most obvious explanation is because Akemi is the first person to actually show her kindness. But that is just misdirection! The moment Akemi touched Shion, Shion unconsciously gave Akemi her power, the power to make other super-humans fall in love with her. Since Shion herself is a superhuman, she immediately falls for Akemi.

Shion was the original super-human. All the other super-humans( Akemi, Yua, and Reina) are all normal people who turned into super-humans after receiving their powers from Shion.

Or this could just be a manga about a normal middle-aged woman whose unconditional kindness and maternal instinct instantly makes schoolgirls fall in love with her. :P

You know, I'm pretty glad this hasn't been a romance story. Kids just seem to drop onto Akemi from the very aether. Are we just gonna keep adding kids with each chapter or are we meeting a couple of kids that we'll follow as the series continues? Well, see you next month to find out, I guess.
