That's probably not the case, but it is possible that her name was only said towards the end of the sentence.

it's like the author was going to use one cliche from the old cliche jar, but accidentally knocked the jar over and spilled all the cliches onto the chapter

Did...did this manga actually just subvert expectations? Not only that, this chapter actually made me laugh, I think this is the first time this manga made me laugh, only a little, but still. Mind =blown

This chapter was magical in its own right. I genuinely chuckled at the dad stuff, and then I mockingly laughed some more at the confession. Good times all around.
