It would probably be kidnapping if she didn't.

"Eat me, sensei?" Holy shit.

This is a cute series, caught up in two days. But that "eating" thing was kinda, idk, creepy.

Anyway, if this is gonna end already, that's indeed kinda rushed.

The Sensei were too close to committed a crime
If she didn´t commit one yet.

Fin?! What about Touko’s illness? We don’t get to hang around for more possible cures? What about Sensei becoming a full fledged doctor? What? WHAT? You can’t just end the story like this!!

I feel like the series got axed so they rushed the ending, can anyone confirm?
Or is that really the ending the author wanted cus it seems lazy if so.

Eh, I dunno, it doesn't feel that rushed to me. It feels more like, "I've told the story I wanted to tell and I'm letting it end naturally instead of dragging everything out." Being longer doesn't necessarily make a series better.

Well all I can say is that it was fricking adorable.

Wait, it's over? I guess it works as an ending point, but it could have gone on if it wanted to

So, cute series, with a charming sort of fairytale tone. Not brilliant, but I enjoyed it

Although it does feel rushed, I feel like the author had no choice because if they're trying to be realistic, it was either end it here with a hopeful future or stretch it out till they find a definite cure which could take years and the story would've meandered (presuming there's no timeskip) and we would eventually be bored of same-y natures of their interactions.

All in all it was cute while it lasted

You never know, we may get omake of them after Touko has turned 20. There's still a few years for Yuki to research and find a cure for Touko's illness. It would be nice to see them as an adult couple, doing regular old couple stuff like sharing laundry duty, or grocery shopping, or eating in a restaurant, that kinda thing. And it would also be cute AF if we could get the proposal scene. (I bet Yuki will try to beat Touko to it, and propose to her on her birthday. Talk about the perfect gift.)

Yeah, i agree with you. It would've been nice to see the doctor finding the cure, but it was nice to see that they end up living together and with a promise of a proposal in the future. But i stiil hope we can still get an extra chapter where it shows how they're life together is.

Yeah OK I will be more accepting if we get that extra chapter showing their adult life together kinda like Hoshikawa Ginza District even though that was an unsatisfying ending (C'mon I really wanted to see them together as adults a bit more than what we were given)

I gotta agree with people who felt like this was abrupt. Like, generally I feel that if a series ending catches me by surprise it's not a sign of excellent pacing.

What a cute story TvT i loved the fact there was not much angst and pointless drama. The story was just kept simple and cute and that's why I loved it. I agree that we need an extra chapter with Touka proposing to sensei-san and living their adult life together.

I've tried to read this series 3 times now and got bored with it every time, I can't even pass double digit chapters... But seeing as it only goes for 20 chapters I might try again... If its still shit all the way to the end then meh, at least it's only 20 chapters. At this point that's the only positive thought I have about this manga, wish me luck this time around

What, it's the end? That's too sudden for a conclusion. Was it the publisher who decided to stop it here?

Cute series, twenty chapters is enough. I’d like to see an author’s outline or table of contents before committing to reading the series so I can understand the pacing.

The “Wait for me” bit is what made the series worth it. They’re adhering to the law before getting serious about the relationship.

It seems the ailment has been dealt with since they’re co-habitating the same apartment. She wouldn’t have left the hospital if she wasn’t cured.

I’d like to see more of mangaka’s work about “adult life” in the future.

I have enjoyed this series, though I didn't know it was ending already. A little kiss on the ring finger under the moonlight is a nice way to fin.
