Why does this remind me of the ending of Gift?

And to sum up my feelings related to this chapter:

Why the hell did I read this before going to bed?

I'll be so happy if Shou pulls a Triangle Struggle ending and just goes balls-to-the-wall hentai.

Silly, Shou doesn't make porn about post-adolescent women.

That's easy. They got together, they have science babies. Female twins. Wincest.

Yeah, I'm kinda desperate now.

Dammit Shou!! You better give us a happy full yuri ending!! That or start working again on Prism.

Everybody wins! I can get behind this idea.

Well, it dragged long enough. People are so frustrated by Stretch that it's becoming legendary.

I don't think we will see Keiko & Ran's science babies, so if it reaches some kind of conclusion where they are at least aware of their feelings and there's a hint of a possible romantic relationship, that will be sufficient.

I completely agree. I think that if there are conclusions drawn about a possible relationship between Keiko and Ran it will be most likely hinted at. I just don't see there being an official confession but, if there was I would be happy with that at this point.

I love this manga as frustrating as it has been, but I do get the feeling that things are starting to wrap up.

What the fuck is going on!?
Why the hell is she moving away?
Why is there suddenly drama?
Where the flying fuck is my yuri!?

This. i have no idea what is going on anymore

Yeah, Shou the writer really fell down on the job on that one. The last three chapters has major events happening off camera (the decision to move, the breakup, etc.) with little more than a mention at best, leaving the reader completely confused. It's not that there's mystery, it's that a bunch of this shit makes no sense and we have very little to go on.

you know, i really thought this way at first also. but after thinking about it a while, and rereading, the way he did it imo was beautiful. the way he kept things going mostly as they have been in the atmosphere of the story, and then suddenly we see all this wistfulness and pain from ran now that the end of them living together was finally there. if he had done the break up and the conversation of her having to go away for work on screen, it wouldn't have made the ending of the last chapter so powerful. although, at least a clear cut statement of why she was leaving or something would have been nice, i'll admit.

Oh god, my feelings. Why.
That being said, I'm kind of glad that the conclusion is in sight, I would like to see some resolution between the two. Romantic, preferably. XD

I expected fluff and here I am getting da feels instead.. I'm honestly feeling so attacked right now it's not even funny... smh

They better have a happy ending! It would be ideal if they met again by fate. It doesn't matter how, what matters is that fate will bring them back together just as how fate had brought them together in that earthquake. Of course there would or might be some repercussions like one of them might be in a committed relationship when they meet again and they realize they're still in love with each other but their timing is off, or Keiko doesn't return the feelings(which I think is a little bit unlikely).

But I believe and hope for a happy ending! Shou-sensei, please make it happen!!!

I don't understand why so many people is complaining about the last chapters released. I think they are totally coherent with the story and the way it has been told so far. And knowing that there's at least one volume left I still have my yuri hope alive :)

Because Fukushima was man's fault.

Tsunamis or earthquakes are none's fault.

And the consequences of Fukushima will stay with us for centuries.

Yeah, because the word "nuclear" was involved, there was a lot of hysteria beyond the actual damage caused. The advantage at least is that all the other plants in Japan are pulling up their socks and getting proper safety measures in place, which were way too lax up to this point.

Nez is right. The lax safety measures are the main reason why Fukushima went so wrong. Had the Japanese government actually spent the time and money upgrading the plant to modern standards it likely it would have survived the tsunami easily.
Modern nuclear power plants are without a doubt the safest and most durable power production systems in the world, so long as people take the time to keep them in tip-top shape. They are also one of the cleanest so long as the nuclear waste is properly disposed of. Far cleaner than fossil fuels like oil, natural gas and especially coal, the latter of which is so filthy that it amazes me that its still even legal to burn coal.

Well, except that uranium mining is anything but clean or carbon-neutral. Certainly it's a net improvement over oil and coal (not sure how natural gas stacks up). And of course hydro is way better where available.

Thing with Fukushima is that the media and panicked laypeople have blown the danger outside the immediate area of the plant way out of proportion. Stuff like it irradiating the west coast US, making all Pacific fish stocks useless, contaminating Japanese beef, and so forth. It's all nonsense.

Yeah right, blame the japanese government.

Everyone knows governments are evil, right? That's the way every self-respectable american thinks.

Oh, shoot, TEPCO was a private business. Who wanted profits and then cut corners on security.

And that's why a strong government is needed kids. To keep businesses from playing with your lives for money.
