i wish there were separate sections dedicated to the specific chapters like in other manga sites :>
seconding :')
"Oh, a new chapter", I told myself, "but I'm too tired, I'll read it tomorrow". Before I finished the thought, I had opened the chapter and started reading. I love this author. Thanks for the translation as usual.
Idk what's happening in the comments but I like seeing things unfold in the story I think it's interesting so far :3

I'll tell you what the author is cooking: a het conversion fantasy...or something. Idk...can't be bothered to go back and read those rants in previous comments.
It's Erika's fault
Seems like Kaede plans on acknowledging Nakanishi's love to help her not go through maybe the same regrets her and Nami have... At least that is my read on things. I am happy that this seems to be a bit of a queer mentorship story and am looking forward to what it evolves into.
Thanks for the translation.
Oh thankfully the translator point out that there was a mistranslation in chapter 2. So thankfully it was just in the past and not from high school to till even now today...
MC's GF thankfully redeem herself a little by her comment toward the MC. "Why didn't I realized how good you were to me"....She is still on fking thin-ice with her whole abandoning MC comment in Chapter 1...but at least she got back to Neutral 0 instead of minus points in my point of view and maybe other people eyes....I am assuming she is being truthful and heartfelt here. The whole abandoning thing if school found out is jerk move but eh...I guess people choose their own survival if it comes down to it sadly.
Now the main question here for me....Who will win in the end for MC's heart....MC's current GF and first ever crush...Or the newcomer (Nakanishi)...These are the main two fighter for MC's heart....It could go either route depending on author's intentions.
Thankfully Miki also admit she was wrong (Thankfully the jerk male teacher actually went to talk to her and help clear up the misunderstanding...)...Tho it would be nice if she said 'sorry' to MC (Kind of apologize but not 100% fully one. Probably best she can get though) but at least now MC doesn't have to deal with a jealously and emotional teenager thinking she is dating her co-worker...hopefully MC won't have to deal with Miki again assuming Male teacher doesn't try flirting with her again...
Thankfully MC also realized the true sender of the letter...She was kind of being stupid at first in her guess but thanks to Miki coming to MC and revealing that Nakanishi didn't spill the beans it was easy to find out that it wasn't fking Oda-kun (Plus the 2nd letter gave MC a lot of hints on who could be the sender, crossing out Miki and her other friend leading to only 2 possibly suspects that knows her current situation).
Hopefully MC gently and kindly rejects Nakanishi, thanking her for feelings but cannot accept them...Hopefully Nakanishi learning to deal with it and learn to move on to find someone else when she eventually graduates but thankfully got a good friend in Sensei (MC) after the journey in highschool.........'OR!!!' MC's GF fking messes stuff in the end and Nakanishi wins in the battle for MC's heart at the end of the story...Either route is possible, we don't know the author's end game plan lol.
What is actually unfair is that even the slightest concern about the intentions of a series is received as an attack on the very character of the author. Hell, I haven't even mentioned a potential het endgame in a while, I have been mostly talking about misogyny in my last few posts. I would not be running my mouth so much if I was just "afraid of het" or whatever.
I think you might be 'over exaggerating' the 'Misogyny claim' in the story here...On a scale of Misogyny I would rate the total Misogyny shown as a (1 or 2) out of 10 scale at most, The students do not think their teacher is a sl*t or calling her a Wh*re but rather that find it amusing to pick and tease her [Very fking annoying brats] at her clumsy auto-response to one of the student rude teasing joke (They were all shock at how she reply but probably knew she answer by mistake on auto in chapter 1 flashback).... I bet they would be real shock at finding out their joke and her response is actually kind of true. Heck MC's current GF is the one teasing and joking around calling the MC a Nympho, how mean of her to be sl*t shaming her GF lol.
It kind of similar to the scene where Monster class room manga where the students asked if the MC was a virgin (entitled Brats with emotional issues looking to tease and bully their new teacher) and the MC responding deadpan that yes he is a virgin...The stuff they do to the him there is 'serious bullying/Basically almost a crime', Like just becuz they are bullying a male does not mean it's misandry but yes it definitely 100% bullying. MC in this manga series (Learning love) is indeed experiencing bullying (Low-level stuff)...The students probably don't consider or think it any 'serious' bullying...But it is indeed 'technically' bullying...Just low-level bullying (Teasing in their eyes that they think is harmless) toward the MC. The correct and more accurate term is bullying/annoying teasing by bratty students instead of 'Misogyny'...Now if MC was being discriminated against for her gender then it would be 100% accurate termed.
I seen way worse examples of Misogyny in other series like 2 types of Step-mother cinderella isekai Manhwa (Level 3-4 but makes sense since it's medieval times and there is no magic except magical beings, the existence of magic is a powerful equalizer), Isekai saintess manga where I read the scene that old guy telling MC to be with the ML (Web novel version/ I Was Summoned To Be The Saint, But I Was Robbed Of The Position, Apparently/ Level 2-3 Misogyny) even if ML got another 'lover'...Yeah no fk that MC is the fking Saintess with holy magic she doesn't have to put up with that... A light comedy manga about Former Corp office lady finally quiting her job and becoming an assassin by accident (2-3 Misogyny rating due to her former boss claiming she should be wearing make-up to work and basically calling her ugly without it..) and IRL Taliban Fighters being interviewed and Laughing Over Women Politicians idea being a 'possibility' in their place/country (Level 6-7+), telling the interviewer to stop fliming since they don't want to be film laughing and be taken as very serious.
Though your totally 100% correct that MC is doing too much unpaid work in counseling for students....Yeah she should get paid extra if that is part of her job...And if it is not then MC should stop doing it...Even if counseling can help many students. The students need to learn to search stuff on the internet for answers...Tho they should takes the answers they find with a grain of salt since lots of random people with stupid idea...It like the situation where one person is doing all the work in a university group project...Happen often sadly and thankfully teachers catches it sometimes and assign the grades fairly.
TL; DR---- Humans are a sh*t race and 50% of humanity are sh*t (30% are meh-tier but can turn into sh*t-tier or decent-tier/ rare 10% of good-will people that can turn Sh*t if they experience too much Sh*t), no need to be specific about gender, age (Both adults, children and teenager), race, ethnicity, cultural and etc. MC is just enduring and experiencing lot of bullsh*t and stuff from messy annoying situation that she doesn't need or deserve but she got into sadly...
See chapter 5 soon appear right after writing out my comment
Well...This was a interesting and thankful surprise from the translator....I literally wasn't expecting another chapter so soon, the translator is spoiling us all...XD
Read Chapter 5 instantly
EDIT my comment to avoid potential spoilers, though I am being pretty vague in my comments.
....
NAMI!!!!!!!
....
Well I guess she could have changed in those years away from MC...but Still jerk move how she respond.
Still I am glad how MC handle the situation the way I preferred, kind of personal and she didn't need to give out some of her personal details but I believe she handle it 98% the best way possible...
Nakanishi also was glad that MC didn't reject her just because her teacher role/position or fact that Nakanishi was a girl, Probably felt better knowing the first person she fell for was very loyal person too!
Also RIP Oda-kun...RIP.
Also yay (Not yay) more annoying headaches from random student at the end....!

I think that was probably the best way to handle that situation of a student confessing. Acknowledging her feelings while still very clearly rejecting them so that hopefully the student can move on. The whole asking for a kiss and "im even more in love with you" nonsense felt very contrived for the sake of the manga but whatever lol.
Anyways time to deal with the police oh joy. Being a teacher is pretty rough.
Oh my double chapter. Well it looks like I was way off with thinking after the first 2 chapters that this would go the route of student and teacher, the rejection was proper. The question is now what with the police? lmao
So I flipped through everything real quick to find any evidence of New Student at the end there, and she miiiiiight be the gal sitting at the front of Kaede's class? She's got a ponytail, no sideburns, and implied glasses on that second page (if they are actually the same character, too, lmao)

https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/learning_love_ch02#4
Only other ponytail girl I found was the one Itaoka implied forced a teacher to resign, but she has sideburns, probably not a match.

Idk what compelled me to do this. Anyway, thanks for the double update!!

Good catch! I think you're right, and honestly, they all might be the same girl. Which I think would be quite interesting if so.
Can some one .... Explain to me what's going on . I'm not very smart and I'm really confused about what she and the boy talked about with the letter
They figure out the confession, and then someone's getting arrested. It's always something in this school.

Oda-kun and Nakanishi are friends (Shown walking in chapter 1)
Oda-kun claims there is nothing going on between the MC and male teacher (Basically told her I told you so)
Oda-kun has feelings for Nakanishi, hoping that Nakanishi might be Bi (Hoping for a long game victory)...But sadly she is likely not Bi and fully on Yuri (Lesbian). Nakanishi just see Oda-kun as a friend, RIP~!!!!
Nakanishi claims Oda-kun rewrote her letter [Oda-kun giving her the original letter apparently]
(Not sure what parts where changed or if Oda-kun just wrote the same letter/words but in a random handwriting to avoid MC noticing that it's nakanishi's hand writing....Since you know like people have certain writing styles when writing out stories or their hand writing has a certain signature you can notice...which since MC is a teacher she probably seen her students hand writing a lot....Honestly I am surprised that Nakanishi didn't just type out her letter like the 1st letter but seems to have wrote the 2nd letter personally by hand...)

Glad that ended well :D
Thanks for the two chapters today!! ^-^

This made me laugh so hard
"Boy...That escalated quickly."
I've move on the Love Letter Case and I want to know what happened to the student.
Chapter five was good ^_^
wahoo wahoo I say jumping for joy, not only because we got the fifth chapter really quick but also because I'm once again pretty on the money.
I doubted it a little last time but we are moving forward with Kaede telling Nakanishi that she's gay but already dating someone. Which, bar straight up telling Nakanishi that the woman she's dating is Nami, is kind of literally what Kaede was told not to do.
But of course, what else could she do in this situation, if nothing else she has to show her sincerity. I do also kind of get Nakanishi's "I love you even more now" because while she was rejected. Kaede did so to make it clear that she's not being rejected for any reason she wouldn't be able to accept. Also really funny to watch Nakanishi turn red while putting together Kaede is a lesbian with a high libido.
Now to move onto new problems, teaching is never a quiet job after all.
I'm not so sure that the Boy is doomed. We don't know Nakanishi's sexuality yet and this is not a manga where everyone will go in one direction. It'll have variety. So they might be a "long haul" issue and could go either way, which makes things interesting. That explains why he was so upset with Kaede in the previous chapter. He was trying to take up from Nakanishi. I'm assuming Nakanishi told him about her feelings for Kaede?
As for the Kaede, I loved how she cleanly rejected Nakanishi and that Nakanishi truly accepted it. Some series make that awkward or end in ways that will linger. This didn't do that. She's already secure in her current relationship and isn't currently entertaining dating a student. Now the police arc. She can't catch a break. One case then onto the next. Given the nature of this series it most certainly has to do with another relationship problem.

Wait, let me get this straight. From what I understand, the blond boy who was reading by the window most likely likes Nakanishi. This is hinted at when she says, "just saying there is no chance I'll see you as a romantic interest" toward the end of Chapter 5. It seems like he might be helping her deliver the letter to the teacher because he has feelings for her or something. That could explain why a new letter suddenly appeared in the teacher’s bag in Chapter 4.
Honestly, I’m starting to really like Nakanishi’s character. She seems interesting and like she has a lot of layers and hidden intentions. :)

Ch5 was nice, this arc seems to have resolved peacefully.
I just wanted to say, “why didn’t I realise how good you were to me” still seems like a shit thing to say, and is no reflection of true connection and love towards mc whatsoever. So far, none of blonde’s actions screams to me she actually likes and thinks for the mc’s sake, so I still dislike her. The relationship they share feels wayyy too imbalanced. It seems to me like blondey is only dating mc for fun and will drop her at the slightest inconvenience.
But hey, given that the title is Learning Love, I wouldn’t be surprised if this is some journey towards mc finally realising how to forward or drop her one sided relationship.
I got soooo fucking pissed when she said she was dating another woman— you are her TEACHER. She is your STUDENT. That’s not HER business to know. And your girlfriend literally said she’d break up with you if people found out about you guys. Why the hell would you make it easier to do that??
The male teacher had good advice. Avoid bringing it up until they graduate and reject them then. Or just reject them now and say “you’re a student and I’m your teacher” cuz by letting her know that you’re into women as well, she’s just gonna think she has a chance.
Ughh she’s cooked. Also, damn, what did that student do? Why is it the teacher’s responsibility?
