Kon doesn't deserve the heartbreak she's going to receive
I'm not sure Ai , is really in love with kon and only with her because she 1 doesn't want Kon to die 2 is trying to fill her own void .
Small hints like her keeping the pendant , zoning out and thinking about the sea, the opening where she's awake staring out .
Kons too sweet , and too unique for this . I think I'll regret buying this manga off amazon if it goes how it looks to be going .

First of all, Kon has nerves of steel pursuing someone when she doesn't have a job. My second hand anxiety was peaking this whole time. Pursuing someone who was already in love with someone else to boot

Second, I'm preparing my heart.

Actually, I kept seeing someone who was a bit like Kaede, flighty and does things for attention but she makes you feel warm when you're together so you get stuck on it. In some ways, when they say they have feelings for you, they're not lying because they mean it but only in that moment. As I was entranced, I can see why Ai is hung up on it as well. But Kaede doesn't love her. Actual love shouldn't be destructive like that but Ai doesn't realize or rather isn't ready to accept that yet.

Just leave them in peace... pls cries

I think Ai is faking being happy, because she feels guilty towards Kon.

But as soon as Kaede will reenter the picture, she'll drop everything and say "Sorry" to Kon.

Ai's happiness with Kon is an "ordinary" happiness. Saying "welcome home", working in the day, sleeping together, preparing dinner, lazing on a day off. A very simple happiness. It's suited to Kon, but is it suited to Ai?

Ai's happiness with Kaede is "fireworks" happiness. Going to see the stars, going on random road trips, bungee jumping... a life on the edge, like they're going to die tomorrow so they don't want any regret. A thrilling happiness.

Ai's like a moth to a flame. She's been burnt, will get burned, but she doesn't care. Kon is going to suffer.

I think Kaede is the 2nd personality of Ai created as a result of trauma. The blue garnet occasionally turning red is a good metaphor.

I finally understand both of their loves are different.
The love Kon depicts for Ai is stable and secure,the ordinary happiness, whereas Kaede's love for Ai is romantic yet unstable and "dangerously addictive". With all the dangerous elements added in their love to make it feel stimulated and passionate.
Kaede's love is indeed very burning hot and mémorable ones, like first love.

Ah I can see this. Reminds me of White Album 2 (het, unfortunately) where Setsuna was the more "normal love and happiness" and Kazusa was the type of intense, all-consuming love that wars are fought over.

Here it feels like Kaede is an addiction for Ai. She gives Ai momentary bliss in exchange for wrecking her life and other relationships.
But love has often been compared to addiction.

I'm feeling the opposite; that we're entering the final stretch with the last big conflict before this manga is over.
The biggest indicator for me is the 2 month timeskip this chapter and the short timelapse of their new life together. I'd expect the author to focus on the early days of their relationship a bit more if they were planning to stretch this series out for a good many more chapters.

I went and reread a lot of their stories one shots and the brides one . Damn , I really don't think this'll have a good ending .
Kon has been my favorite MC in any Yuri . She doesn't deserve this at all

Um. I'm not sure what I think about ch. 10, but it's not same old same old, that's for sure.

I can relate to Kaede’s feelings of dissociation and emotional numbness, but in my case, the solution was to transition. I’m curious about what it is that she needs

OMG, fuck you!
First of all, she needs to talk to a psy. She's living only through the eyes of others.
And, the heck is with Ai. Ok, she found her other half but she decided to make her life so miserable by going anywhere without telling her and sending her some hints to try to find her. All that while still being married to a dude. Just Fuck you!
She's making everyone around her sad. She just sounds egoist for me.

Yeah, ch10 warrants a full re-read for me. I want to see how Kaede's actions towards Ai reflect now that we are keen to her thought process, and her desire to feel anything. Her husband has already clocked that, to an extent I feel; he just took it like her actions was about him and getting his attention. Rather than it always, always being about Kaede.

You mean Akane, not Ai.

Also, I don't think the people in college told her they were co-dependent. Akane just expanded her horizons and could compare how her relationship was going with how other people's relationships were and she realized (she says so herself) that her ow relationship was twisted and based on co-dependency. It just means she took a step back with some points of reference. Honest reflection on your relationship is something healthy to do.

And Kaede wasn't even sad. Just disappointed to have lost the vessel of her "life".

That flashback of her breakup with her highschool girlfriend came across as super funny.
