? Not really? It is clearly using the maid in exactly that light - and basically acknowledges it - that is the gag. If you use a meme or 'lazy' common gag, whatever, like this ironically, then that's fine - as long as they don't keep doing it over and over then it will loose the irony and just become the lazy gag itself.

This is really funny. It's weird that people are calling this boring and uninteresting when the girls are supposed to represent us yuri fans and what we want in yuri. People are basically saying any debate about what we want to see in yuri is boring.

I think they're saying that the way these characters went about their debate is boring, not the debate itself. Even I have to admit that the first chapter was rife with cliches and eechi for eechi' sake. This second chapter doesn't have those problems.

I don't know what is wrong with using cliches and ecchi for ecchi's sake in comedy manga parodying ecchi and cliches.

I don't like comedy that's too formulaic, and this is exactly that. I mean, it's not as boring as some other stuff, but it's also not exactly super-funny. I've also never seen any so-called "yuri fan" seriously discussing these "issues". So maybe I'm just not in the "scene" enough ^^

But for me this is more some lame ecchi thing than an ironic take on any yuri-ness.
