@FluffyCow the person said its hard to ship when in reality its not. Most people don't need a reason to ship people together. That's why I used Fate. In the games the girls are mainly romantically paired with Shirou, but people still ship them together.

^^ not sure how characters liking the Rover makes posting yuri hard when there's a female Rover. That's like saying shipping in the original Fate game is hard when all the ladies like Shirou.

I always thought stories about someone having romantic relationships with video game characters were weird. Like wouldn't players or developers wonder how characters from the game are in the real world? Wouldn't these characters have set personality traits that they will have to follow, since it's in their program? Shouldn't the world have borders, since the developers only programmed but so much of it. It always feels like so many of these stories skip that part to the point where them being video game characters meant nothing.

Yeah, it definitely seems to me like the endgame is being set up for Mei picking Maria Sensei. It seems to me like she's going to go through another round with the other girls, but keep coming back to pining after Maria in the end and realize that she's the one that she loves.

Also, as an aside, I noticed upon rereading the issue that we got yet another flashback panel of that night Mei spent with Maria Sensei there at the end where Maria was visibly naked under the bedsheets and presumably looking at Mei in bed with her. I'd thought initially that Maria was wearing a shirt, but it looks like the line I mistook for a collar is more likely to be her collarbone.

Sooo yeah. They boned.

Also I don't agree that the endgame is Maria yet. The very fact that Mei is considering the other girls tells us that Mei doesn't love her most of all at this point. Right now she's in this weird position where each girl is now seriously confessing to her. I can see her thinking about both Minato and Maria when the next girl confesses to her.

I'm team Fuuko so if this ends up being a wake up call to Yuni and she goes through an arc of finally realizing she loves Fuuko and not her current GF, I'd be satisfied. The most obvious path this could go down is this new girl serving as an obstacle that makes her realize this, along with more Fuuko backstory.

But forget all of that, what the hell did they mean with that Crown of Thorns imagery? I'm a sucker for religious symbolism and this could mean a dozen different things, especially because it's being PUT on her. I know this will sound goofy but...is Fuuko meant to represent Jesus in this story? No I'm being completely serious.

I think it's supposed to represent how Fuuko is Yuni's savior. The person that came to her out of nowhere when she felt alone and wanted someone to love and care for her. Now that savior is being hurt by someone else. The imagery of Fuuko as Jesus with the crown of thrones and the new girl being in the image could represent Yuni seeing Fuuko (the person that saved and was their for her like Jesus was for his people) as being abused by the new girl, who represents her saviors tormentor (similar to the people that tormented Jesus). Yuni is just too selfish and prideful to tell Fuuko she actually cares about her.

God, the author really has succeeded in making Yuni just the absolute worst. Hmmm, my lover is clearly distraught, and is shaking... guess I'll just leave her with this woman she clearly doesn't want to be around ¯_(ツ)_/¯.

Yuni is an asshole that sees Fuuko as her savior. I think she was overwhelmed by the idea that someone like Fuuko could be in a position like that. Most of the imagery we see of Fuuko from Yuni's mind is of a beautiful woman that feels almost like an angel. Distorting that idea of Fuuko with how she looked in that moment probably caused Yuni to bail.

As a selfish and self centered person she seeks comfort rather than providing any comfort herself. On top of that she acts very distant when a person breaks the perception she has of them. Yuni felt like Nanase was pushing her away so she cheated. Now that Nanase is trying to be a better gf Yuni's views of her just being a gf that doesn't care about her is ruined, which leads to her growing distant from Nanase. I feel like the same thing happened here. Her belief of what Fuuko should act like is different from how she was acting here, which lead to Yuni pushing her away.

Her being self centered was also showcased. One of the main things that pushed her and Nanase apart was the idea that Nanase spends her time with others. That they get to see sides of her that Yuni doesn't. I think with this new woman it might be the same case. Yuni at the end might be missed that it's someone else that can make Fuuko break down so easily. That it's someone else that was her first partner. It takes away from Yuni's idea of Fuuko being her savior, and in Yuni's mind makes her just another sex partner. Even worse a sex partner that isn't able to see sides of Fuuko that the new woman was able to see. Similar to how she views Nanase and how she interacts with her teammates.

The story feels like it's trying too hard to make us sympathize with Taki to justify all her messed up actions.

1 of the reasons I don't like furries is because I begin to overthink things. Like why does she have a animal head with human proportions. Does her species give birth to weird animal/human hybrid babies or do they look more like animals and grow into anthropomorphic beings. It just makes me think too much about how their bodies work lol.

I always think it's funny when I see Castorice art with Stelle as if she's Firefly 2.0 when in game it's nowhere near as romantic in undertones as it is with Firefly.

Issue with Jane is 80% of the fandom ship her with Seth. It didn't help that in her latest rerun the only support character Hoyo put with her was Seth.

Astra and Evelyn are something, but just don't bring g up the date trailer she had with Wise. That hurt the ship a bit.

In a way Chiharu is a weird combination of all of them yet the opposite of all of them. Like Minato she likes listening to Mei and is happy talking to her. Interesting enough both of them see two different career choices for Mei that involves listening (Chiharu seeing Mei as a teacher and Minato seeing Mei as a stage performer). Like Karin she wants to kiss (taste) Mei, but unlike Karin she couldn't bring herself to go through with it. Like Maria she can see through Mei's feelings for her, but unlike Maria she wasn't able to capitalize in this fact. Like Riri she enjoys touching Mei, but unlike how touching brings Riri and Mei closer it's the lack of touch that drove Chiharu and Mei apart. Smell is a bit tricky so I'm not sure how she connects with Kaoru on that aspect.

Chiharu gave up seeing, hearing, tasting, touching, and smelling Mei all because of 1 moment. It does make you wonder if Mei found out about Chiharu's feelings would she confess and leave the others.
