Thank you for TL'ing this, i'd been wondering about it since i saw the original teasers on twitter...
Age gap yuri with a much older woman.... Oh my... oh me oh my....!!!
there’s also this one-shot you could read that has a pretty big age gap. around 30+ years.
The younger one is 32 years old and I think the older one is in her 60s or 70s can't remember.
Oh I didn't notice it at first but this is Sal Jiang first work in YH. I know Black and White and Wicked Spot aren't from there but I didn’t check the rest. It reminds me of Battan and how you can feel their yuri stories have a differente ¿air? to them. Yuni too if I have to name another artist
This is incredible, one of my new favorite one shots of all time. The layers of implications, especially around the sister also being in love with another woman, are so rich and compelling. The Nobu and Tamao have such great chemistry together as well, but I think the sister's mindset in all of this makes the story feel so different on a second read through. Not many people can tell a story with this much depth and richness in meaning, in just a short story.
I was actually gonna recommend Water, Coloured as well for another great work featuring an older woman.
So both sisters were gay? Hopefully her older sister was able to run away as well.
It seems like she stayed to run the family because her longtime maid was the one she was with anyways
Yeah feels like that was her "compromise." Hopefully they can get away eventually as well. Maybe find her sister. I guess at least she's not alone. I'm assuming that's also why the sister's maid was hesitant to out Tamao. She felt conflicted (and silently judgemental of the older sister) the entire chapter. Like she was saying, "you know what we went through, why are you doing this to her too?" You could turn this chapter into a full series with the same ending and it would be magical. Would probably make some room to explore the older sister and her maid/lover too. I can dream.
