No complains about the story. I just wish the tag older than she looks tag was for women who look older than their age instead of the other way around

The problem is in English "older than she looks" can only refer to women whose age is higher than what you would guess based on their appearance. There's no ambiguity, you are just reading it wrong.

You can check out the "younger than she looks" tag to see stories about women who look older than their age.

Have any other readers solved the mystery of who Konkon is? They seem to have ruled out all the obvious suspects, even the teacher. I'm betting there are hints sprinkled throughout this volume that I'm missing. The only other "obvious" suspect is the guy in the last panel of page 1 of chapter 24 making apple rabbits.

What an ending to season 1. I'm so glad that I guessed wrong and their teacher is fine. The rest of the series cannot come soon enough! This is probably one of the best GL manhua (Chinese) I've read, with an engaging story and beautiful art.

It was already clear from an earlier flashback that Weixi is the current emperor's daughter, but this chapter (24.2) just dropped the bomb that her ability to see the future is actually memories of past lives. How is this possible? Her premonitions include knowing the exact words to tell the brothel Madame to let Suyou leave, that the weaving factory might be set on fire, and living with general Suyou as her wife defending the imperial city. All of these things directly relevant to the future and not something that could have vaguely happened in the past. So how is it possible that these are memories from past lives?

The scene with General Su You is a flash forward. It's not part of a past life.
For the other events, she lived through them before to figured out what she needed to know or do to cause the outcome she wanted so that in her next life she could make it happen more easily. But sometimes things happen that she hasn't experienced before (like when Su You told the story about the Huahui) so she doesn't know how these things will affect the future.

So Weixi's past lives are more like alternative timelines that occurred at the same time (as in same time period in history) as the current story, instead of lives that actually occurred before the current story? In other words, this is like a time loop where she gets to redo the same life (reincarnates as Weixi every time) but make some different decisions each time?

The fact that I have called both Weixi's origins and the nature of her powers almost three months ago makes me unnecessarily giddy. :'D

But I'm guessing that it was from a timeline where Weixi obediently stayed at home at her father's side and never started her weaving factory or seek out Suyou, leaving Suyou to fight alone and lose. At the time I read chapter 12, I was too confused to grasp this ;-;

Based on the author's Weibo, I think this is a oneshot, not a series. Discovering that made me both slightly disappointed but also relieved that there's no further angst.

Also, I think on the very last page, what Qiangyi says to her new girlfriend is better translated as "Let's fuck" than "Let's go to bed".

I love Tomori's face on page 23.

I’m pretty sure she died too. She had a wound on her stomach that made it seem like the bastard might have turned the knife on her at one point during the scuffle. After what went down, it’s likely that she would have made another appearance if she had only gone to prison.

I hope its the right syntax: you can see it in chapter 19, page 1. She hits her head on the table and it was bleeding a lot. I guess you can draw your own conclusions, because it isnt shown what happens. My guess is they both died.
