I find it hilarious that at least 90% of problems that occur in the stories on this site could be solved by the characters honestly talking it out, and the one time a character takes a somewhat mature approach with "your actions hurt me because of x reason", her counterpart just hits her with "sounds like a skill issue".

Right? I was fully expecting her to say "you could have just spoken to me", which would have been annoying to hear but also true, but "sounds like a you problem"? Damn girl

I can't get over the gem-like quality the artist imparts on the characters' eyes. It's mesmerizing

Wonder what the implication of nicknaming her "canary" is. The only reference I can think of is the phrase "canary in the coal mine," which doesn't seem applicable. So why is she that bird over any other songbird that might be kept in a cage?

Do we know for certain this is the bird being named in the original? It might be a translation choice for a familiar cage or song bird for a more unfamiliar word in Mandarin?

Am I crazy or was there a yuri tag that has now vanished?

I like how they thoughtfully went through the common yuri manga trope of "if it's love, gender doesn't matter"and deconstructed it a bit

Well, I'M excited. And I definitely think the two protagonists are probably once again trademark demi/aces, because they're both following manga to try and figure out what's coming a lot more naturally for everyone else.

I really respect that the author went "I'm going to put everything I like in this story, even when it shouldn't go together" and now we have the cutest giantess schoolgirl romance with mecha alien elf monsters and spaceships and dissertations on humanity and stuff
