Oh, I really like the art style! The way the eyes are stylized especially really captured my attention, which I guess is important for a manga that looks like gaze is going to be important and with so many eye shots. And I get the breasts are ridiculous but Lulu's design is so over the top with details and ruffles and flowing things that it doesn't feel unbalanced on her to me. She's like a wedding cake of a woman

I love how the artist showed Toriko's body language in this chapter during and after the kiss, the way she keeps a hand on Sorawo's hip, her tender clinginess, you know if she could she'd always be touching Sorawo

I thought from the start this story felt like something that would make a good anime, the right mix of cute girls and violence and sorrow and sweet. The trailer did NOT disappoint

I find it hilarious that at least 90% of problems that occur in the stories on this site could be solved by the characters honestly talking it out, and the one time a character takes a somewhat mature approach with "your actions hurt me because of x reason", her counterpart just hits her with "sounds like a skill issue".
You can see the Persona Arcana Card inverting in real time with that one.

Right? I was fully expecting her to say "you could have just spoken to me", which would have been annoying to hear but also true, but "sounds like a you problem"? Damn girl

I can't get over the gem-like quality the artist imparts on the characters' eyes. It's mesmerizing

Wonder what the implication of nicknaming her "canary" is. The only reference I can think of is the phrase "canary in the coal mine," which doesn't seem applicable. So why is she that bird over any other songbird that might be kept in a cage?

Do we know for certain this is the bird being named in the original? It might be a translation choice for a familiar cage or song bird for a more unfamiliar word in Mandarin?
