Honestly, Haru's backstory kind of reminds me of Kumai Yako from "Utagoe wa Mille-Feuille" though I am enjoying this manga a lot more than I did that anime.

This kind of feels like an “Ado meets YoruKura” kinda series and I’m definitely not complaining about it.

I love the fact so many of us can feel the 'Author likes Ado' vibe from this work ahahaha

Plot-wise this is feeling pretty generic for me. I liked when Hikari joined as another person for the main two to interact with, it seemed like there were more opportunities for interesting character dynamics, but the sister introduction is feeling kind of generic again. I'll keep reading, but I'm not super excited about this one.

As someone that really loves this series it's always interesting to me how much opinions can differ lol

i'm not saying this is intended or a perfect parallel but a girl who is ashamed of her deep voice which she believes doesn't match her appearance, hides in a literal closet "practicing" her voice, and fears ending up "back in my closet" if her voice isn't good enough, seems easy to read in a certain way shall we say

ADOMINATION?

She means a trans girl, but yeah I think the author just really likes ADO

i love this interaction. jarvis insert hes_a_little_confused_but_hes_got_the_spirit.jpg

God the levels of gayness between these two are off the charts. The gorgeous art really sells it.

I dunno why but I imagine Haru's singing voice sounding like Emily from Linkin Park's.

Yes, I can see that.

I first heard Emily Armstrong's singing in Dead Sara (not heard anything from them since Em joined LP), especially the tracks Sorry For It All and Weatherman.

Ok, so I'm not the only one with that impression. I tried giving the series a go but it feels like the author thought out the whole story but didn't bother giving it some... pizzaz? I don't know how to explain, but it feels like they're just going through the motion and the whole thing feels generic.
