It’s definitely one of the more notable fictional manga tropes. As you say, real-life evidence suggests that the Japanese are as well-equipped to deal with rainy weather as are people in any other place where it rains regularly, but in fiction it seems like the rain itself causes disease (which is why characters who have gotten wet in the rain must immediately be placed in an emergency bath or shower).

Another great chapter. Really love the way Aya looked on that last page. Good mix of smug, confidence and "the audacity of this bitch," but in a loving way. A lot of personality in a "frame." They're both so sweet.

And if you're bedridden with a fever, it ain't a cold. I know Japanese use the same word for cold and flu, so translators should be aware and use the word flu if they mean flu.

It's funny how people just seem to forget superstition that others have learned through childhood thanks to parenting. I don't get immediately sick because I caught rain, nobody does, but my mom sure as hell would yell at me if I got rained on and didn't immediately warm up with a hot shower.

On the chapter: It is so sweet! I feel like I like the story more with the time skip, not because the time skip is better, but because the story didn't goddamn end with a simple kiss on the lips and affirmation that "Hey they're dating now." Feels very "How do we Relationship" which I like.

When I was younger if my hair got wet it would frizz so badly I hated going out in it. When it was raining my dad used to say one of two things it was either "Stop being a baby you're not made of sugar" Or the more vulgar "What's the problem not like you're gonna drown shit floats" I got my very crude humor from him thinking about stuff like this makes me miss him very much.

Very cute chapter I'm glad were establishing how much these two love each other and I feel Mitsuki saying "My Body is far more honest than my mind" correlates partly back to the whole thing were all worried about with the whole not playing music anymore yeah? Maybe that's just me.

I’m very disappointed in this manga… I thought that green yuri would become blue yuri in the chapter called Feeling Blue and I forgot about red yuri too in Seeing Red. Okay, dumb jokes about common phrases aside, yeah, I agree that this is kind of unfocused right now and I wonder if some of the characters from high school will show up again like other people were wondering. I still like it a lot though, so I think and hope it’ll be more satisfying when everything comes together.

Surely not. I hope this is Mitsuki's wake up call that just because she stopped performing, Aya isn't going to stop being interested in music and going to concerts even without her. You can't let your insecurities get in the way of life ~~

Some people suddenly got disinterested once the main couple got together and they sure are vocal about it.
