This comment reminds me, it was while reading those light novels some years ago that I related so much, first to Adachi and later to Shimamura, that I started investigating myself and ended up with my ASD diagnosis. I think the manga tones down Adachi's weirdness (and Shima's coldness) a lot tho, it's way fluflier.

I liked this series so much I didn't mind if it lasts forever. That was a quite nice ending, but a little generalist.
I'd like to see more of Akira's depths and her whole developing towards Mayuki. Her first kiss with Rin was so rushed too, I thought it would be more special.
