Special thanks to Nanashisan for basically doing this chapter single-handedly! My interest in this was piqued by the afterwards in the first volume of A Face You Shouldn't Show, where Flowerchild mentioned she submitted five story drafts for potential serials following the end of It's a Detached Relationship. Although DameKao was the story that went forward from those drafts, she did polish this one up as a submission to the YH Yuribute 2 anthology. Neat to think of an alternate universe where Flowerchild has a reputation for mellowing out with what she writes about.

That just how it works, when a magazine commissions a author they present drafts and the editor-magazine choose. Other times the author presents an idea with some concept that is asked of them by the magazine. There are also times when the author presents an idea and it is rejected by the magazine until it is polished enough.
I half thought Hibiki would be a kuchisakeonna (slit-mouthed woman), who was just trying her hardest to fit in with human society, despite the lack of supernatural tag.

Their mutual feelings finally came out and their desires + attraction could finally be expressed to their full extent, so I think the sex is a natural conclusion and not forced personally.
As someone who almost always wears a mask while working, I feel this so much lol. I might have a bit of a complex about my voice too but thats for different reasons than being too soft spoken haha

I also thought she could be a supernatural being or have at least some scars at first since standing out with a mask seems bad for a character with anxiety. I did like the nsfw, I guess it was a bit fast because it's a oneshot.
