Battan is probably my new favorite, her stuff always hits so hard no matter what direction she takes it in... I do wonder if we'll ever know Futami's true intentions or if she's really just really into making manga and is kind of fickle and doesn't care that it's kind of ruining people's lives lol. And i am on the edge of my seat waiting to see if Nanakusa will fall into the same trap as everyone else or come out on the other side!

I'm thinking it might be Futami-san herself, manipulating her authors to keep them isolated and at constant odds with each other, thus making them vulnerable and leaving her the only person they can latch onto for support.

This was also my first thought. Her whole game is giving them just enough attention to make them feel special and loved and then using that to turn them against each other and make them feel like they have to outperform everyone else to prove they're the most worthy. What Futami said doesn't necessarily exclude herself.

However, the username does kind of point to ruirui and that "working group" was 100% about distracting and scoping out Nanakusa, so it could also very much be one or both of them.

i don't think it could be futami this time but she could be aware the hate is coming from one of them. she doesn't seem like the type to do the dirty work directly.

Either way, there's little reason for Futami to say things like "it could come from someone close" besides planting the doubt in Nanakusa, so it's immediately very suspicious.

I, too, am in the "Futami is a horrible, toxic manipulator and abuser" boat.

I can't think that the Futami heel turn will be exposed this soon, so it probably is Rui.
