More likely they were hallucinating and there never was a zombie apocalypse. Making the whole thing an on the nose analogy for how difficult it can be to be lesbian. Japan isn't exactly accepting and even if it was, there would still be a portion of the population that would hate them purely for being gay. Must feel like a zombie apocalypse at times.

Still, 20 is not a bad run. I get the impression that the author is more or less ending on their terms.

For those who don’t know, a group called ‘ B12 Deficient Translations’ translated up to ch6.2 on MangaDex. It was pretty good but it was taken down by DCMA. Only bato has those chapters now. B12 did post one more chapter on MD but then disappeared.

I was thinking about this series. It has been removed from purchase. No longer listed on bookwalker, amazon.jp. or ebookjapan. Even with VPN. Sad, it's a nice short story. Only a year old too. Surprising it's already unavailable. Good thing I made the bookwalker purchase when it was still up.

According to the credits there is already an official English of this on coolmic. However, the coolmic translation is from the web comic and this is from the manga volume released in February. Content appears to be the same but the presentation is not.

I had no idea Kodansha USA licensed this until mangadex changed the default name to the new english version.

Yes, Kodansha USA has licensed this and Sal Jiang's 'Wicked Spot'. Volume one should release March 2026.
