every so often i forget that men read yuri until good ol forum comments start getting raw around men getting cheated on by lesbians / bi women or having their relationships cease in favor of gay ones. Anyway im excited to see ohsawa yayois take on the terror and violence that marriage enforces upon queer women in small towns.
I don't know who exactly you are talking about, but I'm a woman. And I don't like cheating, regarding of the gender. What kind of comment is that, seriously? Do you implied being cheating on it less of an issue if your partner is gay/bi?
No, I think the assumption was that male yuri fans are more likely to be pressed about yuri that involves cheating because they may empathize more with the man who is being cheated on than the women who are having the affair with each other. Of course, this is incorrect! Empathizing with fictional characters to the extent that you forget that they're fictional, that the bad thing happening in the story is not actually happening to you, is obviously a co-ed hobby enjoyed by a vibrant and diverse community.
There are people of various genders who can find enjoyment in the misfortunes of a fictional male character and the immoral deeds of a fictional female character, but there are also people of various genders who can't. Fortunately this is a skill that anyone can learn, it's never too late!
I wouldn't be so quick to count the husband out considering hes the one who was kissing blondie in high school. And blondie has been established through hearsay to have ruined her own marriage for cheating. I don't expect Ohsawa Yayoi to pull any punches here for a story labeled as bisexual and love triangle
The bisexual tag is a feature of this site, it's not applied by the author. It also doesn't necessarily describe sexual orientation as it's used on this site.
By the way, this work is not tagged or described as yuri on any of the official platforms I have checked (BookWalker, K-Manga, Kadokawa, CMOA, Pixiv, etc.). Ohsawa Yayoi is prolific in the yuri scene, and false negatives in this way are common, but I find that more portentous in this case than just the bisexual or love triange tags applied by this site's uploader.
