A bit rush compared to the light novel, perhaps.
In the LN there are a few more events happened between the handcuffs part and the make up part: spoilers the trio (Wakaba, Matsuri, Minori) hold a small contest to choose the birthday present for Komaki (and she of course refused it); Komaki secretly hang out with Wakaba during the school festival; Komaki hang out with the ship captain Matsuri and got enlightened with her love advices (respect captain Matsuri, she really know how to cook this couple)

Do you know if the book version is different from the web version? I've read the LN on the kakuyomu website a while ago but I don't remember it having any handcuffs part at all (unless my memory is failing me). Might consider getting the book ver if the two are fairly different from each other
and we're getting the Komaki & Matsuri hangout on the next chapter of the manga so yay to that

in the web novel: fireworks festival, komaki got her pencil broken => wakaba buy her a new one as a birthday gift, then the make up part => christmas love confession, boom, end. Simpler and shorter

Nice, thanks! I did hope there was more development between the festival and their make up so it's good to know the light novel has more drama I haven't seen. I guess it's time to get it and give it a reread before the manga wraps up

glad to see that, just because theyre on the same page feelings wise, komaki still isn't exactly looking for a healthy relationship fdskjfhfs. this was honestly a really sweet chapter all things considered, big fan of komakis sobbing possessive breakdown of a confession

This series has absolute dogshit writing but I've wanted to see it through to the end at least. If it ended with them getting therapy, breaking up, and maybe meeting up again later in life I think that'd be the best outcome.

And...I was predicting this manga will end after 25 to 30 chapters equivalent to the length of the LN but this is wayyyy too rushed. Maybe it will really end after 4 to 5 chapters more, of course only if they won't rush the college part goddangit
