Something I really like about this series (and usui shio works in general) is the pacing. We spend just as much time with the characters together as when they're apart. It makes the whole narrative and understanding of a characters' personality more show than tell.

Probably but that's not crazy. If it means something and has shocked her, she might want to look at it regularly. Plus she could have wanted to show it to someone. Now I'm wondering if we're taking a duo trip to the sister or if she'll go on her own.

I don't think so. All we know about the sister is that she used to tell Asako that love is very important yadda yadda, which is why she was obsessed with trying to understand it.

The contrast between these two series is fascinating. Usui Shio has some incredible range when it comes to tone.
