Am I the only one who thinks her father is an asshole?
He literally just tries to push his own dreams on her because he failed.

I mean, he quite literally doesn't. The entire chapter made it very clear that while her mother initially assumed so, this was all a misunderstanding. And even after mom comes around, they're both willing to support her, but neither is applying any pressure - and she's already decided to continue studying anyway.

Now, seriously... the NCD should check Yori's mom's building's water lines, because somewhere upwater of her, there's a very clear filtration from someone's meth lab. They will close down a big lab, perform a big arrest, and be heroes in the news. What are they waiting for?

Ayaka offer her support to Hajime was such a lovely moment!

And dating someone that is in love with someone else isn't "cuck shit," Miki's proactively trying to move on from a relationship she can't have, (for a lot of reasons,) and Aya is swooping in with the intent to save her from that. this happens all the time in yuri and in real life. It's often what happens to secondary characters when they can't get the character of their affection. Hell, it basically happened with Aki. She was still in love with Yori, but she knows that isn't going to happen so she's trying to move on with somebody else and honestly it seems like it's going pretty well.

People who read romance stories get way too bogged down in "they met by fate on a windswept day when they bumped into each other on the street and fell in love at first sight" but a lot of real relationships are "Well, I had a crush on some guy whose name I can't remember, who didn't even know who I was, and she came after me anyway and I thought she seemed fun and interesting. We've been married for 43 years."

Very well put! Unfortunately, Miki became a lightning rod for so many people's barely related grievances.

At this point it's pretty clear that one of the main themes of this series is couples who start dating at a point when their feelings are not yet totally requited (i.e., there is mutual interest but one girl's feelings are more intense). This scenario is probably not that rare in real life but it's less commonly represented in yuri manga, so to me it's one of the aspects that makes this series compelling.

I find the way Ayaka asked Miki out and Aki asked Shiho out to be super romantic and heartfelt. Of course, as readers we know that a happy ending is almost guaranteed for all of these girls, but the characters can't see the future. So, while all dating involves some risk, these couples are a bit more explicitly aware of those risks, and I find the way they choose to give it a try regardless to be really heartwarming.

the video has gone viral. Now that's lazy writing of I ever saw one. I really hope it doesn't go into the she is discovered and has the decisions and responsibility taken care of for her route. I hoped they put more serious thought into their future instead of just having a storytelling forced good ending.

Cute chapter, I'm happy about her success! Their video going viral is honestly believable.

More Shiho/Aki. I am well fed. They get a long so well, and Aki is already looking forward to her future as the "secret wife." I still remember when people were worried about Aki's feelings for Shiho. Didn't seem to take these two long to become natural.

This new viral video is an interesting new element. Will this be a new arc or primarily used to develop this concluding idea of "what are we all doing after school?" Seems like we have some ways to go still and I'm happy about it.

I hoped they put more serious thought into their future instead of just having a storytelling forced good ending.

I'm not sure what you mean or what that has to do with accusing the author of laziness? Do you mean this is unrealistic? Too fast? Either way I wouldn't agree but I'll look for some clarity. Shiho and her band were already pursuing a professional career. Having a video of them performing go viral is not nearly unnatural, happens all the time and is an extension of what they already said was their intention. What happens after they go viral and begin being courted by the industry is far more interesting narratively then following their attempts to enter it and the author could be feeling that. Calling it lazy feels a bit much.

It's not as though they were unsure and then this video came about and solved everything; they already thought about their future and settled on it. This is what Shiho says in this chapter; they want to increase their fanbase and have scouts come to them. It's the other girls who are unsure of themselves and this event doesn't answer those girls' questions or worries but I'm sure it'll inspire them; it might even cause some other unintended effects. I'm wondering how each of the girls will take this news and how Aki will enjoy or not enjoy being the band wife she was joking about.

Given how talented Shiho's band seems to be, it doesn't shock me that they went "viral". The real test of the story's writing is how the next chapter is handled. Insta-success without any further struggle would be boring. But I trust the author is just using this as a jumping point into the band working even harder and facing more challenges.

Would be interesting if Yori joined Shiho's band, just based on the chapter cover art. And it was nice to see Shiho interacting nicely with Yori this chapter. Foreshadowing??

I love how the first comment about the new chapter is a complain. FFS if you don't like it just drop it, do better thing with your life

Now that Shiho's viral, she should collab with other viral musicians, like with whoever made "What does the fox say?"
