Door-to-door salesmen are very common in Japan. They can sell everything, from Encyclopedias to magical water and Vacuum cleaners. Or they can belong to cults and try to convince you to join.
They're almost always guaranteed to find someone, because housewives stay home most of the time in Japan.
I like the contrast between ch9, where Miyagi was all like "I have to make her not want to come over anymore", and this chapter, where she can't seem to let her go when Sendai actually presents her with the possibility that she'd never come over anymore.
They're not stupid, they're both in denial (and tsundere).
The Idiot Couple tag isn’t about the overall intellectual capacity of the characters; it’s about their inability or refusal to see that they are a couple, or at least that they are emotionally attached in ways that they can’t or won’t admit to.
While there are other ways for characters to be an idiot couple beyond overt denial or being a tsundere, those are certainly two standard ways of getting there.
I can't remember the last time I got an actual door to door salesperson. I do get religious people and people soliciting donations from time to time. Honestly I just assumed the door to door salesmen went the the way of the milkman or the ice man years ago.
Edit: I thought they were all replaced by the dreaded telemarketer.

This is definitely what I meant.
But the denial of feelings and the possibility of being together is a huge staple of the romance genre. If the idea is to add Idiot Couple simply because it would look funny then I guess it doesn't matter, but if it is to be useful then it can't be added on just any random series where the characters are not honest with themselves.
Dynasty currently seems to use it only on comedy and slice of life series, which implies that there is an inherent silliness to the concept. Meanwhile one of the quirks of this series is that it plays very little of the central dynamic for comedy in the typical sense. (It is often funny, but the humor is so dry it's usually hard to tell if a joke was meant to be a joke.)
Thought the manga got abandoned by all the translators, glad to see we might still be able to catch up with other sources one day(complete cope, i know)

Catch up to what? The WN that's at 400 chapters?
It's not a question of being abandoned. The release schedule is just random. There's just no chapter to translate. This one came out today.
sometimes i wonder what other people have experienced in order to build a train of thought leading to foot fetish station
Feet don't particularly do it for me but if they're washed/clean I don't really see people liking them as much different from other body parts, such as breasts/nipples, ass, hands, so on. Finding various parts of your partner attractive from head to toe is generally tame, and there's far more baffling fetishes out there in my opinion lol
I hope where Sendai guessed Miyagi's about-to-be-given order "take off my sock and lick my feet", scanlator could have add a pair of quotation mark surrounding this sentence. The first time I read it I thought it was Miyagi giving order, and it took me a few second to figure out why the speech bubble is coming out from the wrong character...
