I am just re-reading it all... Yuni is sorta useless and I still like Fuuko, Nanase and Yuki would be a fine pair and I don't like paino girl.

This is going a lot better than I expected, with Yuni still being happy about the matching outfits, Yuni impressing Nanase's mom with her cooking skills and bonding over how Nanase only cares about volleyball, and the campsite being more of a comfortable rural house than what I think of as camping. Yuni angrily grilling to perfection was funny. Nanase's mom seems like she would back Yuni becoming Nanase's wife at this point.

I'm thinking that Nanase not bothering to invite Yuni for a seperate trip with just Nanase and her parents will mess this up somehow. We even have Nanase's unrequited lover being openly hostile to Yuni. Given that both Nanase and the volley ball team have very different personalities and boundaries than Yuni, Yuni ending up in an uncomfortable situation where she feels vulnerable is very possible. The campground setting means it's not easy for her to get away if that happens.

That was actually a really sweet chapter? Yuni enjoying her time with Nanase, meeting her mom. Like this chapter almost tricked me into thinking this relationship could be saved. But then there's Yuki who's now purposefully getting in the way between them, and visibly seething in the background now.

Fuuko's ex is like a time bomb ready to go off any minute, so I'm still prepared for shit to get worse eventually.

Actually let me take some of that back. On the surface it's sweet but Nanase continues to make questionable decisions, like running off with Yuki and leaving Yuni alone with strangers and not even introducing her to her mom. This chapter also really emphasizes how much Nanase's life revolves around the club when she's never brought over any friends outside of the club. Small thing like this continue to add up and show that Nanase still isn't taking the relationship as seriously as she should, and Yuni is actually being kind of a pushover to Nanase strangely enough.

I already mentioned Yuki, but yea. She's purposefully trying to get between them now, which is something I expected.

That’s straight up disrespectful too, ain’t it? Yuni ain’t an extrovert, bare minimum she should’ve introduced her, but it would’ve 100% been better if she didn’t let herself be dragged away

You know it really amazes me that Nanase can be this oblivious and insensitive to the people around them, also can Yuki make it any less obvious that she wants Nanase for herself and wants Yuni out of the picture completely.

Well, now Yuni has an upper hand that Yuki and others do not have. She can call Nanase Nappi. That is a close family nickname which nobody else outside the core family uses. This is not just a major victory, it turns the table. She is going to have Nanase's family supporting her.

Striking that Nanase apparently never talked about Yuni to her mom.
