Wasn't sure whether to tag this as yuri or subtext, but per the author's commentary, I went with yuri:

今回は「恋愛に発展する前の女性二人の関係性もまた良き百合なんだよなぁ〜〜〜」という思いを描きたくて描いてみました。
This time I wrote this thinking, "The relationship between two women before it blossoms into romance is still great yuri isn't itttttt?"

If this is a case where the yuri tag on Dynasty is a little stricter than how "yuri" is used in Japanese, feel free to downgrade to subtext.

Also, while the title is just a Japanese rendering of the word “sabotage” (サボタージュ sabotāju), the meaning of the Japanese word is closer to the original meaning of the word, and specifically refers to avoiding work responsibilities or skipping out on responsibilities like school and work, so I translated it as “Slacking Off” but preserved the original English subtitle (Sabotage written out in English). The Japanese word サボる (saboru) also comes from this and means “to skip [school/work/etc.]” or “ditch”, as it’s translated in this comic.

Please consider buying this comic if you have the means. It's only 300 yen (a.k.a. 2 USD, 1.7 Euro, etc.)! Available on Yuni-sensei's BOOTH store: https://yurikuzu.booth.pm/items/7400066

Awesome. The author does a lot of sequels so I'm hoping this gets one too!

I think you're fine tagging this as Yuri, one of the characters is openly a lesbian and the other character is clearly presented as being interested in her. The story is two single lesbians getting to know each other as they progress towards being closer, that's very Yuri to me even though they haven't started dating yet.

Anyhow this was really nice, thanks for the translation!

Which is more romantic, learning your cute coworker is a single lesbian, or getting to ditch your shitty job for a day?

Super relatable... Work is total bs and I just want to run away with a les coworker without ever thinking about work at all.

Interestingly the meaning of the word sabotage actually narrowed fairly recently. Around the turn of the last century thinks like malicious compliance, work to rule, and giving effort appropriate to pay, were considered sabotage. Though those all have a degree of intent that may be lacking in the Japanese meaning. I wonder if the word migrated before the meaning narrowed.

The afterword is so relatable.
Love it.
Hope the author continues on this idea!

That's interesting, TIL. (Both the meaning of sabotage changing over time, and saboru being based on the word sabotage)

wait this might be my new favorite Yuni o___o if there's one trope i LOVE, it's a tender surprised realization that both had noticed each other. it's a little heavy on the "venting about work life" theme (which i mean, i get it) over pre-romance between the characters, but it still really caught my attention. i hope we can see these two again someday!

Holy fuck, this was both cute and relatable. And exactly what I needed today (work situation has been horrible)

that was a fun read. yuni's work never disappoints :D i love how grounded her stories always are, like, these characters are just regular people. it's really refreshing in a genre like yuri which tends to lean dramatic or idealized.

i do want to poke the scanlator about page 7. i'm pretty sure "this is the yellow line" is mistranslated, and it's referring to the "please stand behind the yellow line" they always say when a train is pulling in. it's super minor and doesn't effect the story at all, but i got the feeling the TLer just wasn't aware and figured i'd point it out. the translation is otherwise well done and really natural, so awesome job!

This was beautiful. It doesn't deserve to be tagged subtext imo. It's just... beautiful <3

Was I the only one getting the vague impression that coworker was originally planning on walking into the sea before finding a new girlfriend?

I did not get that impression in the slightest personally. I read it as they both needed a break from work, which was a good meeting point and feeling to bond over. I have family that sometimes just needs to go to the ocean and seeing it immediately makes them feel better, and to my knowledge that's very normal.
